    ADVENTURE: THE DARK PRIESTS

    Troops typically needed
    550 Recruits ----- Lose 525 MAX
    170 Soldiers ----- Lose 0 (if you avoid RED CAMPS)
    220 Cavalry ----- Lose 0 (if you avoid RED CAMPS)
    175 Longbow (you should never lose longbow)

    This guide is optimized for minimal reinforcement. Hopefully it will increase how quickly you can complete the adventure. I also assume if you worry about doing things quickly you have gotten a veteran general. Each army will attack camps sequentially. If at any time you need to make sure one of your other generals has eliminated a camp it will be shown in red in the sequence. If that camp is still remaining when you attempt to attack your army will be intercepted and possibly lose.

    WAVE 1:
    Reg(180R) original start [ATTACK] W1 (3R), C5 (21R), C3, W2 (3R), W3 (3R), C4, C2 (13R), W4 (3R), C1, C6, C7 (30R), C8 (25R), & BC
    Vet(20R/230C) start @ Blue Star [ATTACK] C5, C3, C4, C1, W4, C6 (6R), & C9 (17R)
    Reg(135R) start @ Blue Star [ATTACK] C10, DC (135R)

    WAVE 2:
    Vet(80R/170S) original start [ATTACK] BC (80R)

    WAVE 3:
    Vet(50R/25S/175LB) start @ C10 [ATTACK] DC (25R)

    Ya know, if you move to the blue star first, and take out camps C5 & L1, you don't have to fight W1, W2, C1, C2, C3, & C4. That should save you a good number of troops. You don't lose any XP for this approach, you spend less time completing the adventure, and save lots of recruits.

    Killing the leader camp for a sector on an adventure gets you ALL the experience from the camps within that sector. You don't have to spend the time clearing each camp individually.

    Cool win bone church in 1 wave for zero recruit losses..

    here's a good way to save up to 350 recruits and up to 23 soldiers on the upper-west bone church:

    50 militia
    10 soldier
    50 cav
    17 lb
    73 xbow

    my loss was 50m, 12cav, 1soldier

    you could use only xbow for better results.. i only had 73
    battle sim suggests you'll never lose your bows with this combo
    only requires a standard 200 general

    great way to save loads of recruits from certain death and complete the dark priests using less than 500 recruits

    here's a formulation for Dark Castle (DC) to win in one wave with zero recruit loss:

    100 soldier
    30 cav
    70 xbow

    sim shows almost never lose xbow
    my losses on an actual attack were 53 soldiers, 28 cav, 0 xbow

    best of all.. zero recruit losses -- important if you're trying to win the adventure using less than 500 recruits

    Would it be possible to block camp C8 to take out the Bone Church? I have a Veteran General, so it might be doable. All of the videos and guides I've seen that show blocking on this adventure aren't using Vets, which might be the reason they don't show blocking on these camps. It looks possible, though. What do you guys think?

    i have simmed out possible blocks on the camp before the BC, its not possible. the witch makes the battle take far too many rounds, and you cant get enough rounds on the block to make it last long enough. though if you find something tht you think works, let us all know =)

    If you use 82C on C8, you get a 4 round win / 5 round loss battle ( I calculate that as worst-case 100s )

    47R 10S 1E 10B 1LB 1A 180K will get you a 1 round battle and a 4-5 round teardown ( 50-60s )

    I don't know how long the walk is, but you only get about 12 steps in 40 seconds -- the walk from the C8 aggro to the church is probably 15 steps ( 50s ).

    37R 29M 1S 1E 10B 1LB 1A 170K will get you a 3-4 round teardown ( 40-50s ) M/S/E/B/LB/A/K all survive -- and likely open up a block.

    Killing Camp 8:
    C8: 26R ave 27R max
    BC: 65R ave 67R max

    Total: 91R ave 94R max

    Blocking Camp 8:

    34R 26M ave 34R 28M max

    Block is there (but may not be risk free), but cost/benefit is not.
