    Move to the Start Here Zone.
    There is a blue zone between leader 1 and the zone next to the dark castle. You can move there at the start and take out camp 5 and then leader 1 (camp 6) without having to deal with camps 1-4 or any wolves at all.

    You have a typo. At the top you say you only need 50 soldiers, but you call for up to 160 in some encounters.

    For the Bone Castle, absolutely do not send in 200 troops for your first wave. You will end up wasting 200 just taking out 40 cultists. If you want to try and take them out, send in a smaller force of approximately 80-90 first so you are not wasting your troops. If you don't mind losing some calvary, you could send in a force of 80 recruits/20 calvary to wipe out the Cultists and Shadowsneakers first. After that you can send in a force that mixes in some calvary/long bowmen/recruits to take out the Dark Priests and the Witch.

    Note: Camp 5 intercepts when you attack leader 1.
    Note 2: Bone Castle - I used 80 recruits and 20 cavalry on wave one (lost them all) and then 40 recruits, 70 cavalry, 90 longbowmen on wave two (lost 35 recruits). This is a total loss of 115 recruits and 20 cavalry.

    ...sometimes. It is possible to lose this fight, although the odds appear to be less than 10%

    I'd replaced the 30 militia with soldiers because it is not that much more expensive to make the Steel Swords vs Iron Swords (1 extra step) and the bread to make the civilian is the same.

    Well, very interesting. In general, I don't like losing Cavalry but in a situation of Cavalry vs Soldiers, that is a valid choice. And there were not even "extra" cavalry losses after 1000 simulations using soldiers, losing the battle should not be an issue.
