Little ribbon in the corner of adventure icons?

Someone once asked this before, but I think the answer given was incorrect.

There's a little ribbon (or something) in the lower right corner of the adventure icons.

Most of the time it's beige like the rest of the icon border.

Sometimes it's colored - green, blue, red.

Someone said that was the difficulty level of the adventure.

But I have like 5 of the same adventure in my Misc tab that are beige (actually all adventures I have)
and I just got one that has a green ribbon.

So what does it all mean?

It indicates the level at which you are able to start the adventure as well as the difficulty. The exact difficulty level is shown in the adventure summary, but the color marking will give you an idea of where in the range it lies. White is lowest followed by green, blue, and then purple.

I'm not sure exactly what level you need to be at to start each group of adventures as I'm at a high enough level to do all of them. The white ones are the first that are accessible, then every few levels after that you'll gain access to the next group up.
