    Old Ruin - Troop Setups with a Vet

    Another Adv i had to do in the chain. Here are my results.

    Camp 1 - 60 Scavenger/60 Stonethrower - 13R/1ES/236C (11R loss)
    Camp 2 - 60 Scavenger/70 Guard Dog - 44R/1S/205ES (40R loss)
    Camp 3 - 60 Scavenger/50 Ranger - 13R/1ES/236C (10R loss)
    Camp 4 - Leader - 60 Ranger/1 One-eyed Bert - 90ES/100C/20B/40XB (No losses)

    There are 10 walls to kill at this point. 1R seems to work just fine with no losses.

    Camp 5 - 100 Grey Wolf/1 Croaker - 15R/235XB (9R loss)

    Camp 6 - 60 Shadowsneaker/80 Fanatic - 86R/164ES (80R loss)
    Camp 7 - 80 Cultists/1 Witch of the Swamp - 65R/80C/105XB (61R loss)
    Camp 8 - 1 Witch of the Swamp/80 Firedancer - 180M/70XB (180M loss)
    Camp 9 - Leader - 1 Spawn of Hell - 70M/180ES (66M loss) or 118R/132ES (118R loss)

    Edit: 5340 Exp is reward from this adv. Nothing else, other then the 10 balloons from the quest.

    you sure on camp 5... if i put up 235xb against 100 wolves... won't the wolves take my xbows?

    i did 15 r and 235 c and it worked out fine...

    Just attack each camp after each other in the order they appear.

    Camp 1 - 60 Scavenger/60 Stonethrower - 13R 1ES 236C (8R - 13R)
    Camp 2 - 60 Scavenger/70 Guard Dog - 44R 5S 201ES (36R - 44R) - you can replace the ES with S to a total of 206
    Camp 3 - 60 Scavenger/50 Ranger - 11R 1ES 238C (7R - 11R)
    Camp 4 - Leader - 60 Ranger/1 One-eyed Bert - 93C 157XB (no loss)

    Take all the walls with 1R attacks down.

    Sector 2 (very left upper corner)
    Camp 5 - Leader - 100 Grey Wolf/1 Croaker - 8R 242XB (6R - 8R)

    Sector 3
    Place garrison south of the little forrest at the right side of the sector to skip camp 6.

    Camp 7 - 1 Witch of the Swamp/80 Firedancer - 95M 4S 116C 35XB (73M - 95M 3S)
    Camp 8 - 80 Cultists/1 Witch of the Swamp - 62R 1ES 67C 120XB (49R - 62R)
    Camp 9 - Leader - 1 Spawn of Hell - 75R 15M 160ES (75R 8M - 75R 15M)

    Skipped camps:
    Camp 6 - 80 Shadowsneaker/80 Fanatic - 85R 165ES (65R - 85R)

    Lost max: 213R 110M 3S
    Lost min: 181R 81M

    Using 201 E for Camp 2 but only brought 165 E??

    First camp is 12R 1E 237C



    Block is tight with soldiers in the first camp (13 sec or so) -- with elites, you have 33 sec



    Second block is pretty ragged-edge trying to keep the block alive in Camp 2.

    95R is a 2-round block that will get the kill into the leader (but you'll always lose the troops)
    191R is a 3-round block that is so tight it has ~3 seconds in it (nerve-racking tight but losing the recruits if it fails -- meh)
    I suggest the 85R 70S 45C because it's got the 23 sec buffer and the failure cost is still low.
    You can use 100E 100C if you want to buy another 20 sec.

    Camp 6 is 80 Shadowsneaker/80 Fanatic, not 60 Sahdowsneakers. Attack with 70R 120S 60E (70R 4S lost)

    Sorry Wimpy you can replace all remaining elites with regular soldiers ;-)
