The Developer's Diary for the event hasn't been finalized yet, but we will share more details with everyone as soon as more information becomes available.

And I would guess, that is the reason there is not sign of event start date?

Me too building troops and saving everything including time and energy for the event.. hope its all fixed soon..

You can expect the Easter Event will start about 2 weeks before Easter (about Apr 4). Last year, it started on March 15 (12 days before Easter last year on March 27).
