I have the quest to do Sons of the Veld with less than 300 recruit losses. Is there a guide for that, or do I simply replace my recruits with militia?

I have the quest to do Sons of the Veld with less than 300 recruit losses. Is there a guide for that, or do I simply replace my recruits with militia?
Militia for recruits works fine, the EU Wiki normally has guides for those special quests... though I do not see one for this. There is a round about way that should work as well, but do not want to ruin it an have Blue Byte fix this ?maybe? bug. I would whisper you it, but you are on the other server.
