Timeline of multiple quests

Is there no way to give a timeline of when a subsequent quest will begin? I have completed the Drown the Drought quest for the Host of Responsibilities quest and am now waiting for the Hot Dogs quest to begin. But that is it, I'm waiting with no idea as to when this new quest is to start, or whether there is something I need to do to trigger the quest. I get it that some quest require a trigger to start the quest, but again letting the players know this would seem to be helpful. At this point I don't know if the fact that the quest is not showing up is due to an error on my part, a bug in the game, or just normal processing. For now I'm going to wait a day, and if it doesn't show put in a technical support request.
