Why is this not an option somewhere? Even if I have to pay gems for it, please tell me it will be something we can do in the future. I don't want to have to remake my account to change it!

can you change your (my) name??
You can beg a moderator to change your name, but the bugs that come with it don't make the effort worth it. Lesson is to choose your name wisely as well as your avatar's pic.
