I'm definitely torn. A resource per hour chart would be useful for planning building priority and ratios, but most of all I would like to be able to move my buildings. If only for aesthetic purposes.

Also torn as i have multiples, but it would be nice to earn xp points while playing instead of just during battles or quests
I voted other - for two reasons. First, like some of the others have stated, its a hard choice to pick just one thing. I'd like to change several of these things such as a PvP (for long-term play value), faster resources (which ultimately control the game's progression as well as the player's interest), and a grid for building (which I am certain will be added from the suggestions thread).
Secondly, there are other things i'd like to see implemented into the game. A mini-map would be a nice addition. Also, it would be great if you could select a resource and it display the amounts remaining in that resource rather than having them only display when you are in "build" mode for that specific resource.
Excellent post! I agree with you on almost every point, heh. There is a good base to build on for the game for certain. However, if the "end game" is waiting around forever for resources, to attack bandits that inflict harsh attrition....I'm not so sure if it will hold my attention long term.
Doc-Rock, I chose 'Other' just as you did for the same reasoning.
I would have voted for PvP, but felt as though that was already being worked on, so no need to ask for it.
PvP via War, and war is not everything. it might be some things to some people but you know the rest.
Plus, if you don't plan economically for a war, you will lose. (I wish our past/present gov't. leaders learned that!)
Just like a home budget, if you do not know where you stand money-wise, everything else falls apart.
I chose the Econ Stats window for knowledge at a glance, which helps short and long-term in my humble opinion.
This info helps so much in planning for building production, how many settlers to build, how many licenses you can use or not use, costs for bronze swords via coke smelters, forges, mines, coal mines, etc.
All this has to be factored in to make intelligent decisions.
I think this Economic Statistics Window is a very important piece that needs to be included in the game right off the top, and it needs to be done right.
(AKA Looking at all the comments in the forums of us beta testers, and implementing the best stuff.)
Have a good one.
I'd like several, though admittedly small tweaks. I voted for faster leveling (though I think that faster resource gathering would allow this). I would like to reset to clean the slate and use the knowledge I've gained to plan better the next time, and the economic statistics would be nice just so I can tell more easily how much I am gaining on my goals.
I don't know if this has been brought up any where for PVP and it might be beyond the possible for this game. What if there where border type areas that if you wanted to control them you might have to fight PVP to take or keep control of the area. This way a person could go PVP or not.
Thank goodness that the economic statistics window is leading the poll. :D
Though, many of the suggestions are nice. Grids showing you where you can place buildings is also a nice feature.
Couple things I can think of....
1. Since part of the game is "waiting" for things to finish, provide a means for players to do something interesting and/or that helps their standing in some way. (Ever play Dungeon Keeper where you could go first-person as one of your minions and battle the invaders?)
You could maybe have an "arena" where players can go and engage in some sort of battling system. Maybe have an RPG character that you upgrade and outfit with items. You join in groups or go solo. If you win, big rewards, lose, just get experience.
Or, do some sort of thing that could help other players, or newbies, with their maps.
2. Restart option. ;)
Even if you start back at level 1, I am up for it.
3. I liked how Settlers allowed you to clear-cut forests and even remove some other obstacles to clear building space. But I can accept how this game is working.
