For the final release of the game, will all players have unique island layouts randomly generated? I think that would add nice variety to how players excel in certain resources. This would promote a healthier trading atmosphere. It's also makes it pleasing to the eye to see everyone's differing terrain layouts when helping buff.
I completely agree...I think that would be very helpful. Plus a randomly generated land will help with trade...say some people get more copper or marble nodes than others and visa versa.
Against that idea, would favor some players... Each player shoud have the same thing, but when you'll change island, that's where the difference will be...
Heya! Thanks for your comments. I think the starting zone will stay the same. However in the Adventures content which is available later in the game, there are some awesome islands to explore.
Also, there will eventually be PVP maps where you compete for resources!
@ KnightQC: Only the terrain would change. The resource amounts will still be equal and fair. I was just thinking it would be fun for everyone to have more diverse islands to look at while buffing friends and such.
@BB_Arad1: Cool, sounds fun! I am very much a 'flavor' kind of player, so having different islands makes for a more diverse world in my head. :) Could just be me though.
