Is the game server down or ???

Keep getting "connection failed" trying to login. Is the server down or having problems?.. I don't see any official post??

What is the regular maintenance schedule so it can be planned for?

At this moment, the regular maintenance is done weekly, every Thursday morning between 09:00 and aprox. 11:00 German Time (GMT+1), which would be between midnight and 02:00 San Francisco time. (I'm not sure about the other US/Canada time zones, I'd have to calculate that ;) ).
Maintenance usually takes 2 hours for regular database clean up to make sure the game runs smoothly and without lag, but can take longer when we are deploying a new version, or when we run into unexpected things ^^.

That's 0300 to 0500 Eastern time. Thanks for the quick response.

As a quick update - we handed over the servers to our internal QA testers, for a final testrun before we can put them back online :)
