Playing with a shared IP Address

Please note the following rules apply while playing with a shared IP-address.

- Each player is allowed to have a single, individual game account only.
- Mutual boosting ("buffing") and trading is welcome.
- Continuous, one-sided boosting of a game account is referred to as "pushing" . This represents a direct violation of our General Terms and Conditions.

Please send support a ticket with account names of all players that share an IP with you. We will then flag your accounts accordingly in our internal data base.

Glad for the clarification, there are many crying foul but I have a younger brother playing in the household and we are each playing for ourselves and as such have not been banned. Those that were banned (by the sheer amount of them present in the higher levels) have clearly benefited in a way unfair to others.

I understand you are miffed, but you were playing a closed beta version of a FREE game.

For the record, I always liked dealing with you in game. You seemed like a very nice guy.

I agree whole-heartedly with SirRoy. I understand how you would be upset Maher and don't blame you. I would be as well. Its kinda like defamation of character in a sense although its not UBI's intentions to do so. They are in a tough spot having to make decisions like this. So perhaps a little understanding from their perspective is in order. I do hope to see you guys return though and the mistake corrected. I liked playing with you guys and agree that had a guild resource bank (which is an obvious no-brainer) been set into place for teammates to share and help each other out then none of this would have happened. But with no guild stockpile we were then driven to establish 1-fish trading. Hopefully support will sort the matter out beneficially to you guys. Good luck mate.

Thank you for the information. My wife has sent a ticket in at this time to be sure we are not banned by mistake. It is truly a shame that such measures are necessary at all, but it is understandable.

My wife and I play together sometimes from the same pc, sometimes from separate pcs. Nearly always from the same cable modem box...

Yeah, but how do you have your separate PC's connected to the cable modem? Probably through a router, in which case all the computers behind that router share the same WAN IP. Their LAN IPS will be unique, but the WAN IP is what matters.

So an WAN IP is what the concern is so we have three behind a router. Do we need to submit a support ticket? I thought that the router would make a different IP. We played several game formats and never a problem.

Yes, you will need to submit a ticket. The router has the same IP to the rest of the world and that's what UBI will see.

me, my hubby, my brother, my son, 2 sons-in-law, 3 daughters, 2 step children and 2 then nephews that come over to play on my computer. now if we all want to play. Currently its just me and my brother. but i know at least 7 of the others want to play.. i wont let them because i dont want to get banned.... and how does this work if someone is playing from oh say.. the library.. or in a wifi hot spot where lord only kows how many people could be using the same IP addy?? I am SO confused. I like the game and feel bad that i cant play it with my kids... we do things like this for fun family time.... Someone please tell me what to do..............

Do accounts actually ever get banned? There is a player who is playing 3 to 5 accounts routinely, I always see the names in the trade tab and often they are offering the exact same trades but they are still ok. I don't think this policy is being enforced so I wouldn't worry about it so much.

yea i didnt do this, and my cousin is mad now cause he got deleted.

This is in effect in many other games and it's fair that they have this system to prevent other players from disadvantage. I sometimes login at my college library, I hope that won't affect my account.

Just a matter of time til people start using proxy servers to beat the ip trace.

Me and my mother play from the same IP, it was approved so no worries there. I have logged on on other PC's elsewhere and so far hasnt affected my account at all. I have logged on at friends houses, the apple store, best buy, the library.... all sorts of places :)

I have a different issue (as noted in the big report forum), I started the game from work, via FB, but I can't access it from home. Am I allowed only 1 IP address per account? Logging in 7 days in a row for the rewards is impossible unless I go into the office on weekends! How can this be fixed?

I have logged on with no issues on two different laptops off of my WiFi, my Air Card and many different Hotel WiFi's and have had no issues. I do log in through Facebook, just the CEO Homepage.

too much reason either their wife,brother,dogs,cats is also playing this game with the same ip.they should get banned from the game zero tolerance for cheater

This is good to know, my whole family are into games like this. Now that I have this information I can take care of it and submit what ever is needed so that they can play this game as well if they so choose to. :) Thanks for clearing this up.

Player, you have been banned for Multiple Accounts and Conduct at a GM.



for starter i don't have multiple account and my conduct toward not even rude i seem him abuse is power as a gm maybe bannin me from the game was the best going lose lots of player

am I missing something here? I don't understand the concept of cheating in this game….who are you all in competition with? I'm kind of new here but I thought I was building my own little empire am I supposed to be trying to "win" ?

It's Simple Rules.

1) One Account Per IP Address.

2) If you have a Sibling or a Family Member playing the game with you. Make Sure to send a Ticket into Support stating that you have a Family Member playing the game with you and sharing a IP Address.
