so based on ur experiments, the boss always regenerate full regardless of the time?
(means all the boss should be taken down in 1 shot, otherwise it's futile?)

Correct.
35 Milita, 50 Soldier, 115 Longbow --> good combi :)
Very interesting poll results on who to fight 1st. At the point I was at I fought metal tooth first and for 2 very important reasons.
1) he is easier and only takes 2 waves, meaning it took less time inevestment for me to get a new sector and 10 more licenses.
2) I was in desperate need of more marble deposits and metal tooth sector has 5.
Chuck has 3 coal and 3 iron so depending on your needs/wants, you may want to do chuck before metal tooth.
I did Chuck first but only as a guess. Now I have one camp left before I tackle Metal Mouth himself. I need the marble.
I attacked Chuck first as I was concerned about the cluster of camps around Metal Tooth confusing my general and I wanted more experience with in game battles prior to dealing with the clustered camps. My stats for Chuck:
Wave 1: 115 cavalry (all perished, but so did all the dogs and all the rangers)
Wave 2: 95 recruits, 70 bow and 35 militia (all perished but so did Chuck and 13 roughnecks, huzzah!)
I tried to time Wave 2 so it would hit shortly after Wave 1, however I miscalculated and my first wave was decimated before Wave 2 got half-way there. Luckily it didn't matter. After waiting 4 hours for my Generals (I have 2) to recover I sent in Wave 3 to finish the remaining 87 roughnecks.
Wave 3: 88 recruits, 82 bow and 30 militia (lost 84 recruits but preserved all bow and militia. Roughnecks dead and the sector is mine.)
Thanks to all before me who posted their numbers/results as it gave me a starting point in the simulator. My results were very close to what the simulator said would happen.
Bump!
For Metal-Toothed I'm gonna send in 100 recs and 100 cav first wave, going by the simulator this will kill all the rangers in one wave without havning to spend more on cavalry. For wave 2 I'm gonna send in 200 recruits, the sim shows that about 60-ish will live. I'll post my results after I finish it.
Yeah it would be great if everyone post the results :)
Yup, 1st wave of 100 cav 100 recs killed all the archers + a couple of the Roughnecks, second wave of 200 recruits finished off the rest and had 74 survivors for Metal-Toothed.
I attacked with calvary only in the first wave to take out the dogs and the archers.
I didnt see this thread before i started on chuck. I cant read the battle calculator either so could someone tell me what to send.
I have chuck and 93 thugs left.
Why are you not able to read the battle calculator?
Camps around Metal tooth, any suggestions? All the sims suggest units I don't have or ridiculously high amounts of expensive ones (which I can make just will take nearly a week for just one camp).
Some of these camps need to be recruit spammed. Send in a wave of 200 recruits to clear out some of the tougher enemies a bit so that your 2nd wave can take down the camp. In a lot of cases it's better to loose 200 recruits than quite a few of the more expensive troops.
Thanks. I was hoping that wouldn't be the case but meat walls it is! :D
I went wave 1 on Metal Tooth with 100 recruits, 10 militia and 90 cavalry. The additional 10 cavalry killed all rangers. Note any additional damage from the recruits and militia goes toward Metal Tooth. It seems the plan is to just kill the rangers in the most economical way.
My Wave 2 isn't facing any rangers so I will be substituting Long Bowman for the cavalry. I've been building them up slowly for this and the Chuck fight. Chuck is my next target.
wrong pic for metal tooth
Is this thread included in the guides post?
I am confused ^? where it has pictured chuck, you refer to metal tooth ?
and where it has pictured metal tooth, you refer to chuck?
in order what is it??? from top to bottom..................it is obvious wild mary and the witch are the bottom two!
mary last wave = 150 militia and 50 longbow. 22/23 chances of winning. cheapest option available.
I hope this isn't a silly question, but if it is, please bare with me I am a girl ;)
I stopped making recruits, bowman and militia, once I had Cavalry, Longbow and Soldiers. Cos I thought they were stronger and better, and yet these simulations are using recruits etc. Should I still be using the former?
Nettle, recruits are the cheapest & most effective if u compare cost/damage, so its useless to build soldiers etc when u can just spam recruits :p
I know its a little silly, but the game isn't ballanced atm.
If you want to grow fast & defeat the villages on your island asap, then make the units they suggest, bcoz thats the cheapest / fastest way of conquering the island ;-)
thanks for this! :)
man i'll be level 32 if i do the first wave of wild mary and still she will give a lot of exp
I know my response is months after the question, but ... if you have taken out some or all of Chuck's camps, you can then approach Metal's camps from the lower right sector. You will have to take out one of the hard camps first (200 rangers if my memory is working ... one wave needed to defeat). Then you have easy access to take out each of the three clustered Metal camps, one at a time.
For Chuck the following works with a 3% chance of failure:
Wave 1:
Normal
Wave 2:
100 Recruits
25 Militia
75 Long-bowmen
Wave 3:
Normal
Slightly sooner and a little more risk
Varoon
for Broken toothed-- how about the first wave: 25 recruits, 150 cav, and 25 soldiers. 33% of the attacks (1st wave) would win outright. Is this flawed logic?
Please send me a pm once this is perfected.
Always remember to run through Battle Simulator to ensure best outcomes.
