And it would be so cool if it could be animated as well.
Like the idea!
There is a landscaper...it's called the bomb icon... The fee is the difference between the cost of the initial structure and the refund of materials from the destroyed structure.
There was no landscaper in Settlers. ;) Doubt 110% you'll see one in Castle Empire Online.
You can get flowers and other decorations from the Trader menu under decorations. Some of the decorations are quite nice. I want some brass lanterns.
I see no reason for this since you can already do it by tearing down in rebuilding. The only problem is the current "fee" is too high. A much simpler solution would be to simply to increase the amount of materials returned when you tear down a building. It would require minimal coding effort to change that. Since they haven't changed that despite this being the most common complaint I can only assume they are afraid it would imbalance the game and are purposefully keeping it this way. Not a smart move IMO.
Well, my perspective is that I like some variety and more buildings to play with. (I also don't appreciate the low tear-down returns and think those should be increased, as well.) But having more interesting buildings about that would provide more fun for me in the game (and more interesting graphics and animations) would be cool.
Yes, I agree there should definitely be a "fee" for moving a building. I just think it should be way, way less than it is currently. I think you should get back something like 50%-75% of the original mats. I'm not sure why the developers seem to think being able to move buildings more easily would be overpowered, but apparentely they do since the game has been running in Germany for like a year and they still have it this way.
It's not a deal breaker for me, but I think people would have more fun if they could plan out new layouts and remodel their empire once in a while. As it is now it is not realistic to remodel once you have progressed far in the game. You are stuck with decisions you made in the early days of playing.
