No Worker for My Farm.... Upgraded before settler arrived

This is the first time I've run into any building doing this, even tho I'm sure I've hit the upgrade button right after something was initially built in the past.. meh.. maybe not.. not a 100% sure on that :)

So I built a farm, then I upgraded that farm to lvl 2 right after it was built, before the settler arrived at the farm. I did it again and took the farm to lvl 3. At this point i did not notice that there was no settler working that farm. I checked my wheat numbers and came back in a little bit to see if wheat was now going up instead of down in my storage. It was still going down, so I added another farm and again right away set it to lvl 2 before the settler had a chance to arrive. Still not noticing that both farms are now workerless. I check my wheat numbers, and come back in about an hour, wheat is still going down in my storage. So I go to my lvl 2 farm and push the upgrade button, but as I have that tab open, I notice that there is a big Exclamation over the settler. So now I realize it doesn't have a worker , I decide to check on the other farm as the one is updating now to lvl 3. I see that one does not have a worker either regardless of the fact that it has been sitting at lvl 3 now for quite some time.

So I put the farm to sleep and then woke it back up. Tried this like five times, yet a settler never moved in. I have over 5 available idle settlers at this point. I decide to reload my page, and yet still no fix. So then I log out, and back in again, and still no settler. Letting my settlers pile up, and at 10 idle settlers, still none take over the work on those two farms. I see the only way to fix it at this point is to tear down the two farms and start over without upgrading before a settler moves onto the farm and begins his work.

If you would like screenshots, I have some available.. not gonna bother unless they are requested by staff.

Thats really odd babygirl, I would file a bug report form (https://spreadsheets0.google.com/spr...pPUnc6MQ#gid=0) and post a screen shot (they actually do ask for it) of the matter.

As for your farm, Arrourah started a resource calculator that is fantastic and extremely helpful, which will help you in micro managing your towns resources. Its in the Guides thread.

I did the same with a coal mine, it still shows no workers but is being depleted, and its showing up in my store house I assume since my coal supplies are increasing.

I got the same issue with a farm. I would venture that there is a status for the building that's not been updated in the database because that particular trigger is missing from the upgrade method. Could the programmers check that please?
And can you confirm that the building is producing?

Have you logged out and back in again to make sure its not a lag issue?

I have a similar issue with my forester. I have a level 2 forester w/ a working setter, he is going in&out of the place. But, there is a missing settler sign. Logging out and back in again does not help. I guess the only way to fix the issue is to simply demolish and upgrade only when there is a working settler. Please fix this bug before it gets too costly!

i have 3 lv 3 farms that are still showing as empty lol been a day and abit.. forgot to file a ticket, but its weird that its doing it. as they seem to be working. just clicking the building shows the pop with ! point saying its empty, and has no production time bar... :/ even though i have the population.

built 5 farms all roughly the same time, upgraded them all to lv 3 when i had 0 pop (shortly after killing chuck :/ so needed new troops) the last 2 farms are working normally but the first 3 are "inactive" i cant explain it. logged in many times i refuse to delete them do to them fact i dumped a ton of time and resource in to them

I have the same problem with a Fir Cutter.. Building is at lvl3. Settler going in and out but no production Bar not sure if I have production there or not..

This has happened to a L3 Bakery I have too. What can we do to get it fixed?

The only way to fix this bug so far is to destroy the building and build a new one. At least that's how I dealt with two of my buildings. Just make sure the settler is in the building before any upgrades.

I just had it happen with 3 copper mines. The problem i had wasnt upgrading before a settler moved in, but i upgraded when i didn't have any idle settlers available. Although it's telling me there is no one working the mine, it is getting depleated.

This issue still exists.

same upgraded a copper mine no settler had to destroy it and rebuild
