Hey Testers!
With the shop open I thought it would be a good idea to post an image of the infamous Watermill and its endless supply of water!
Note: You can upgrade the Watermill, just like any other building, up to level 5.

Personally, I think this is the second most significant and desireable item in the store next to the noble residences.

for the gems the watermill is worthless. 10 buildings or the equivalent to 1 never ending well. i have over 40 wells on my land and that is almost 250 bucks.
please allow use free players to trade in game resources for gems.
If i buy a watermill will i be able to move the building or able to rebuild at a later time or after the beta will i still be able to use it on the new map?
atx - As with decorations from the shop, if you 'destroy' the watermill it just goes back into your star menu. I do not know/am not willing to test if the upgrades to the watermill stay with it if you destroy and move the mill. As for your after beta question, if there's ever a wipe you will get your gems refunded so you can just purchase it again.
I just tested this and if you destroy your watermill and rebuild it somewhere else, the upgrades disappear.
I'm a little disappointed with the watermill myself. For 995 gems you get a well that takes up 1.5x as much space and it produces water at the same rate as any other well.
So essentially you lose some space, and the only thing you really gain is 1 less well that you have to re-build.
Water mill looks pretty. Have negligible value. You would need so many of them that they are cost prohibitive.
At least graphically it looks nice.
I would have given the watermill a higher output.
Such as 5 water per cycle at level 1 and 25 at level 5.
The **** thing is big enough to deliver that amount of water.
True it is large, but the fact that it never ever runs out of water is what I really like about it.Quote:

the watermill really doesnt need higher output, the reason its in the RMT shop is because its unlimited water. you do not have to rebuild it every day when it runs out like the lv 1 or 2 wells do.
mind you, if it had a faster production speed it would be better. given the fact the picture shows it has a waterWheel... so it should produce faster then a guy drawing water up from a well. frankly the watermill and special units are the only thing really worth it in the shop... the noble house isnt that impressive when you are high enough to build nobles. at lv 1 its a great buy but unless it doesnt take build tickets its really not that important.
the watermill, gives unlimited water which frankly far out weights its expense.. as you dont need to pay time/resources every time to it.

Upgrade to level 2: 250 Hardwood planks and 300 Marble
Upgrade to level 3: 100 coins and 400 Marble
Upgrade to level 4: 500 coins and 1000 Marble
Upgrade to level 5: 800 Exotic wood planks and 1000 Granite

Hmmm. The Watermill takes 1.5 spaces, is inexhaustible, can go up to level 5, costs 995 gems, and has the same production time as a deep well. Other players have already posted pros and cons in getting one. The only other aspect that is not fully explored is aesthetics. Can you post pics on what the deep well looks like at each level? Some of us are curious as to what is added/changed on the building for every increase in level.

SirRoy.. the idea behind the watermill is to cut down on your overhead. (1) 995gem mill far out weights 2 or 3 rank 2 wells at level 1.
unless you plan to invest a thousand USD to build nothing but watermills... 1 mill is actually perfect. as it can be upgraded and never expires. unlike a well that upgraded still expires.
the main reason for the watermill, is to have unlimited water. you can drop it with a few rank 2 wells and be fine for water IMO. heck you wouldnt even need to upgrade it really, as most people make due without upgrading their wells. if you are being effected by such a water demand that you need many wells.. well the mill would help cut down on costs. 1 time expense. the fact you can break it down and rebuild it without any expense helps as well.
i my self would buy 2 watermills if i had the disposable income to buy 2k gems for them. as that pretty much guarantee atleast 2 water every Xminute without having to worry about it being exhausted
i just think the mill should have a faster production time, its fine if its just 1 pail of water, but it shouldnt take so long to get water from it..

I have production on lvl 5 water mills ranging from 915 - 980 per 12 hours. This includes transportation time. If buffed double that.

Hey atx1980, all things purchased including nobels from architect, are re-usable, with the exception of wheat and artisians. Same goes for Decorations.
Eliya the castle, does Not produce unless its at level5, do not let it discourage you, becuz it takes 30k beans to upgrade it from lvl4 to lvl5. Beans are acquired by doing the new adventures.Quote:

This may though take you a while to accomplish, for the adventures are very advanced. The Castle then produces Bean stalks... for which you may use them for this-

Please disregard the Artisian's, I've them there for looks... Without these Watermills, I wouldn't have the granite to make the amount of Artisians or the patience to always replace levelII wells.
Here's what happens, on my Ares acct I get so sic of replacing LvLII wells, that I bought yesterday another build slot. Additionally, I am saving to buy these. My other island, runs perfectly, why? becuz of Silos and Recyclers, Most of all - Water Mills and Silos . . . Buy them, spend all ur Gems or Trade for them in TO, they are like Gold... Remember, horses
cannot survive with out it....
