ONE SUGGESTION
remove the confirmation tab that pops up when one tries to demolish a dry well, an exausted mine or a wheatfiled ;-)
it should only pop up if one tries to demolish an active building.
Suggestion on the Bookbinder:
Decreasing max amount of Manuscripts needed to 3. Building up from the point of 4 or 5 takes too much effort in my opinion.
Thank you in advance.
They can start with not screwing up chat every time they update something. This is a great example of how a game should not be run. Even the basic things dont work properly. Ive played a ton of MMO's...(whether you would consider this one is up for discussion)...and this is by far the worst one for mistakes and reoccuring problems. I wonder if people actually write programming for settlers or they trained a pet monkey. I ve had enough...I ll continue to play for now until i find a new MMO...I m definately done spending money on this broke game...Think its time to check Elderscrolls online in a few days... They have always appreciated money more by producing decent games.
Wow! And I thought I had some harsh things to say. I am worried about the future of TSO.
While I can see this never happening, I wonder if it's at all possible to create some sort item that can help reduce times for upgrading certain buildings, I feel like seven days for some production building is just too long, as you may have to shut down other production buildings to compensate.
At the very least maybe some future skill of some kind that allows buildings to continue operating while they are upgrading.
I never understood the logic of having INSANE prices for the science system, I'm not sure if they can change it, but if they add General and Island skills I really hope they modify the prices so its less.
I mean I can understand making it a little challenging. But right now at max prices, with a maximum level Bookbinder, it takes 15 manuscripts for one Codex, as opposed to only ONE manuscript if you are at the right level.
At 15 manuscripts, that would take seven and half days (not including the Bookbinder production buffs), it then would take Three Tomes, which is an additional 3 days. So that makes it 10.5 days. A codex then would take an additional day (if it's not at 12 hours, it might as well be a day for production).
So that's about 11.5 days for maximum levels and maximum prices for ONE measly Codex.
That's honestly too expensive. Look I don't care if the Paper or the other items increase, because they take much less time to gather. But a tome requiring 5 Manuscripts and a Codex taking 3 Tomes is just too ridiculous in my opinion.
It probably won't change, but I'd like to understand the logic of making a Codex eventually costing a total of 15 manuscripts and 3 Tomes, and taking about 12 days for it to happen. Isn't it bad enough that we have to wait so long for a book to be produced, do we really need to spend all these resources just for one super book? Especially since the Geologist need 11 Codexes to be complete.
That's 165 Manuscripts, and 33 tomes, and would take ~132 days to complete. Now imagine you have 10 Geologists. See you in about 4 years.
Sure, sure, in the beginning, it's pretty cheap, but then what about the future. Those supposed future science skills that were planned. What about the General or Island skills. And so what you would be forced to save the books, but look at all the geologists you can have, and the explorers.
It just doesn't make sense to me. Why the science system gets so expensive. I can handle the increases in gold coins, paper, Nibs, Movable Type, Book Fitting, I can handle that, but the increase in Manuscripts, and Tomes increasing the production time for one Codex, just doesn't sit right with me.
With gems it instantly upgrades.
I'm not talking about instant upgrades, I'm talking about just reducing the time.
This is one of the problems I found about The Last Stand: Dead Zone, you HAVE to use fuel for high end level weapons, I would much rather wait rather than spending fuel on a weapon to be instantly created
Only in this instance and this game, I would like some time to be reduced. Not all the time, at most 50%. I don't mind waiting 3.5 days for something to be completed. But 7 days or even 10 days seems like a bit too much. I mean at least create a buff that can reduce the time a little bit.
Player suggestion:
[Lycan] fidler: when we start an adv and click on an general to send was asking if they can change that to where you dont need to click them one at a time like put a check mark next to the ones you want to send and change the boring music
