I would like to see this as well. If there's one resource I don't need more of, it's settlers.

Definitely need this change made. It's very wasteful for the settlers to go right into the population, really very irritating. I know for myself I will always make sure I do NOT max out my population, and leave a gap of perhaps 10-50 settlers to be filled by my Mayor's Residence (and as of the end of Halloween 2014 my one Village School).
Like others had said in the bug reporting section (but which seems to have disappeared in the last couple days), this makes a big waste out of the gems (ie. real Money) and resources people have put into village schools and upgrades, and buffs like Cheese Sandwich and Love Potion.
Settlers are a very special case compared to most resources, wood, metal, etc. Generally probably less than 10% of the storage capacity of other resources, very different production, fundamentally different types of purpose, use and "consumption". They are one rare "resource" that people will want to be near maximum capacity most of the time, but that there is often no actual rush to get them nearly maxed out. They can't be traded unlike almost every other loot from advs thus can't free up storage room for adv loot.
Settlers from adventures need to work like they did before adv loot could be put directly into out Stars, which is only a very recent change. A counter against that might be that this idea forces people to have to bother find their settlers from the adv in the star menu and add them manually. But that is a poor counter. The current system forces us to put often all other ~12? item stacks from advs into the Mayor's House manually, instead of just dealing with the settlers. And like my example above of specifically wanting a gap our population after an adventure, letting us be much more efficient by letting automatic mayor's/school population growth fill it, when we do want to add settlers after adventures, we almost certainly want to add smaller amounts (or very specific amounts, most easily done with stacks of settlers from the provision house, in stacks smaller than from advs). Alright, I admit this post is already too long.
TLDR-Settlers from adventures need to work like they did before adv loot could be put directly into out Stars, which is only a very recent change. Settlers from adventure loot going straight into "inventory"/the population, is an insulting waste.
how about a tab/button that removes all army from all generals on the home island. It would make it easy to set up for the next adventure.
So now that I have 10 savage scouts in preparation for Christmas, I would like to see a repeat last search button to save myself some clicking. Or a way to send several explorers all on the same type of mission, like the new generals checkbox function. Some way to consolidate all these e-mails would be nice, too, although the e-mail system in general needs an overhaul.
Here's a suggestion..... rollback PvP and let's go back to how it was.
I love the option to put loot directly into inventory, but, one thing: When I'm using lemon tea on school houses, and settlers are a loot spot, it counteracts the need for using tea at all. My population fills up and I just wasted gems on a buff. If settlers would always go to star then that would not happen. If not, it is like making that buff obsolete.
I have difficulty with moving my generals around the Adventure map. When you click on the profile of a selected general it takes you to where he is positioned on the map. First I look to the position where I would like to move then I pop over to where my gen is, but would rather just click the portrait and then place him in a new position. I hate having to drag the mouse over click after click to place him after finding that place, having to go look for it again, and again, for each general. Have lots of generals. This gets my wrist while I drag the mouse cursor.
Would be nice to find the new desired position, click portrait of gen, and place him directly on the map, without having to drag him around.
How about giving us some way to get rid of the useless expedition marshals. Some of us now realize the expeditions are not even worth bothering with and would like to get rid of the marshals we have as they take up room on our island.
if this is a repeat suggestion my apologies.
it would be nice if we could rename specialists, for example one of my scouts is trained for adventure bonuses so rename him Indy(Jones) lol and a geologist with mostly coal bonuses renamed Coal. as i get more specialists their positions change in the star menu so its time consuming to find the right specialist for the search.
Guild quest being completed by logging in everyday. I am usually too busy to complete any of the quest mostly the adventure ones and eventually get kick out of the guild for missing too many. Would be better if you had tight knit guild who wouldn't have to worry about doing guild quest. I know some of the quest are easy but I somehow manage not to complete them and get kick off a guild. Be nice not to but I understand their reason to give me the boot. Would it not be better to have a tight knit of people who stick together.
