Many times I have had folks accidently buff something I had purposely set to sleep. Not only is this a very bad idea, its ripe for griefing. Lets say I decide to sleep my gold mine because it is starting to run low on deposit. Now someone comes along and decides to "help" me by buffing it. Now it wakes up, and soon exhausts. I lose the ability to put deposits back into the mine and get the joy of building another...No Thank You.
1. Have the generals level up.
2. Roads mean faster travel.
3. A Kingdom overview that list all buildings and maybe an efficiency meter - meaning, how efficient the building is compared to if it were closer to a storehouse.
4. allow us to build brides to the small islands and utilize that space as well.
I'm only at level 19, but have a few suggestions.
1) I feel the combat is too determined. Certainly there is variability because the damage any unit can perform is a range, but I know that going against 100 troops that do 15-30 damage, I will sustain 1500-3000 HP of damage. There appears to be no way to modify this - no hero leveling, no items, no tactics. I totally understand not wanting to get into the business of leveling generals and having items for them - the games does not need that, imo. I think you could do a lot with tactics though. This would, I think, fit the feel of your game better. By tactics, I mean something like the following: Bandit camps are often surrounded by variable terrain. There could be bonuses to offense or defense, depending on what terrain type you are attacking from and to. For instance, if I attack from the mountains into a camp that is on grass, I might get an attack bonus. This would necessitate giving the player the ability to set waypoints for the generals, so that you can attack from the direction you want to. Further, if a bandit camp has a general, and the player enters his influence radius, he might ride out to meet you and seek an ambush! The player could try to circumvent the general and attach a less defended town (risking ambush from behind after the battle). Anyway, just a thought.
2) How in the world do you refill an ore mine without exhausting it and using the geologist? I know you can use the gem shop to get refilling items, but is there another way? I have not found it. I suggest that you clarify the in-game tip that informs the player that mines can be refilled and tell us how to do this.
3) add a quick key for "build road" like there is for accessing the barracks. I like making grids so I know where I can place buildings and clicking through the menu is a bit tedious.
4) some way to manufacture simple cosmetic items would be nice. you could introduce a florist or a simple wood carver, say. Even a painter that could change the color palate of a building could be neat - maybe I want all my residences different colors, for example, instead of the same. Certainly you want to keep the snazzy cosmetic and decorative items in the gem shop, but something simple might be nice.
I can only assume this has been mentioned but 45 pages ... too much to read. I would like to see a buff timer. Either when you mouse over a building or under the details tab. Something that shows you how much time your current buffs have remaining so you know when you will need to rebuff.
How about a signpost that other players can visit when visiting that let's us leave a message and a little checklist with the building icons of what we needed buffed? Also, agreed with the click option on visiting non-friend empires w/ the option for players to allow or not allow viewing.

How about user defined hot-keys, select the building you want with e touch of a button.
Let us stack up to 3 baskets on 1 building?
Or if not that, let us stack 3 sammiches.
Some kind of economy boost or drawback style events at times could spice up the trading when you see something selling for to much over time or not enough in the trade area.
Have a quest for turning in a certain items for a time period to boost the sales to have some trading interaction for players to do this.
Enable us to toggle the tree graphics on and off. so we can fine hidden things.
In the guild administration tab...enable us to confer individual titles on all members.

I think Foresters would work better like this:
Once a cutter chops down all the wood in a tree it also produces a seed.
This seed goes to the warehouse where you can make the tree a sapling in the forester like you do with the provisions house.
At this point the sapling goes into the star menu where you can plant it anywhere you want.
This would work so that players have more control over how their world looks.

Maybe you could only be able to place saplings within a certain area around the forester like how you can only build Garrisons inside your areas of control

It might be nice to allow the placement of multiple buildings of the same type. Do something like [shift]+click places a building and keeps the cursor ready to place another. This would allow you to, say, replace three fields quickly, rather than - place a field, go to menu, select field, place the second, go to menu, select farm, place the third. A small difference, but it would be nice, imo.
Love the game. A few little things make could make it alittle smoother.
1. The scroll bar for chat is hard to navigate. If you push either arrow the whole thing jumps.
2. Some more info regarding resource production instead of watching your storehouse every hour or so and checking for gain/loss.

I think when you are attacking someone if you wipe out there health bar they should not be able to attack back because you are losing people for no reason. It just would make more sense if you wiped out there health they are "dead" and they no longer can attack.
random idea about guilds make some sort of guildbank or guild warehouse for the guild to store and take things from we could set who can and cannot take from the bank and it would help with ppl who need to trade with a guildie and that person is afk or offline
Hey, I think we should have the options to send gems to other players as well. This could help out guilds and noobs alike! from generous players.
i think a guild HQ on a separate island would be a good ideal. allow for construction of warehouse, barracks, provision house, 1 of each building and members donate resources to lvl them up to 10 and each upgrade boost the overall production of that resource by a set amount to all members of the guild. allow for residence or donation of pop to island so you can build guild army and use them to wage guild wars. winners get a portion of bonus or resources for a set time, and during that time they cant be atked again till that time runs out to allow for a army to be rebuilt.
make the game to where we can build on top of chopped stumps of trees. its kind of an inconvience in which you want certain builds in one spot but you have too build them somewhere else and then slows down production. *im new so if theres a way you can do that please tell*
also make it too where you can move buildings freely and not have too tear it down and then rebuild it in the new spot.

Oh and Do I loose a building liscense every time a mine or quarry exhausts? Ought to fix that. Im just sayin. If its a ploy to get me to spend money on building liscenses, it wont work. I will simply find another game once I cannot build.

If it hasn't already been said make archers fight in the battle as well, not just when all mele units are gone.

Can we get a demolish button on stone and marble deposits so if one gets low and i'll be off i can demolish it and send a geo out to re-find it so when we log off our deposits dont run dry and loss hrs of production for no reason.
use less coal too build weapons
Tip for the Military part of the game. Since we need a commander to set up camp, why not have the commanders fight too, or give off buffs to his/her army? I don't know about everyone else, but I can't stand my army of 160 losing a leg and an arm for 40 stone-throwers. Who trained these stone throwers? Goliath's slayer, David?!?!
1) Allow us to toggle off the regional borders between sectors we have claimed. I think they look out of place. Alternatively, could they be changed to fences, terrain features, or something that better fits the visual style of the buildings and landscape?
2) All of the buildings that I have seen look good with roads around them. The fields, however, have an edge of dirt that overlaps the roads. Could this dirt (which looks fine when there is no road around the field) have a lower precedence, so that the road isn't covered by it?
3) I find the yellow quest scroll [!] icon visually distracting. For me, the icon is always present. I think it would make sense for the icon to change when you have viewed your available quests. For instance, when you have a new quest the icon is the present bright yellow, but after opening the quest log and seeing what quests are available, it would change color to a more subtle brown that matches the rest of the UI.
You have an awesome game here.. just needs a few things ajusted for better play. I have a hard time keeping up with how many of each building or resource that I have.. Can you possibly make a window that we can see all of our buildings and resources, so we know how many we have of each. I would also like to see a bigger building queue.. It would possibly speed the game up in certain instances, such as when you log off. You could also use a few chat monitors to ban people immediately when they get out of hand.. there is too much spam going on.. its really out of control and people like me cant carry on conversations and enjoy the game because of these people. You might could offer people who already play the game that are mature enough to make that decision and reward them with gems or maybe 12 hour buffs everyday on all resources. Thanks!
one more thing.. I think there should be a way to donate to the guild for certain inguild contest or maybe just to donate for guild expansion, with only upper guild officers that have access to it.
can we get a refill button on wheat fields use the same amount of resources as it takes to build them but it reills them with wheat so we can do them all instantly instead of rebuilding 3 at a time thanks
I have not taken the time to read all 48 pages of replies, so I apologize if I am repeating an idea. My idea is that ubisoft should create a island that is available to everyone. One you reach level 25 you should be able to build a building called a store. This is like a branch office, but it would show up on the island i mentioned earlier, and you would be able to sell items on it. Say you have a constant excess of wheat. While you have too many farms, you do not have the time to replenish your copper mines often and do not have enought copper ore. This way in your store, you could put up a trade of wheat for copper ore. This trade would stay up there permanently until you decide to take it down. There should also be the option of selecting the amount of trades. For example you put up a trade of 400 wheat for 400 copper ore, but you only need 1600 copper ore or only can spare 1600 wheat, you could limit it to four trades or sales. This way you are not bombarded with trades and have to press decline a million times. This is just an idea and can be revised and changes however ubisoft wishes to. I hope that you will take my idea into consideration.

I'd like a button in the building window that allows you to "tab" to the next building of that type and have the building centered on screen when tabbed to.

Here are a few ideals, some have already been posted but I would just like to put them in here to make sure I dont miss something.
1. When buildings up guild increase production time by 10%. For example, lvl 1 sawmill's produstion time is 10min, then you up grade it to lvl 2---the production time now 9.09min.
2. I do agree with the road ideal of it should make production time faster, one thing is thou is that it didnt cost player nothing to build. So, in order to do this you would have to delete all the roads off everyone's island then charge like 10 to 20 stone per sqaure. The increase should be like 5%.
3. Let us move are buildings around after they are built. Give us like something that we could buy with gems that would enable us to move around all building on our island for like 24hrs. Make it reasonable price, make it too high it would cost a player alot less to just destroy their buildings and rebuild.
4. I like the ideal about have]ing window that we can pull up to show us our current rate of production to all of our goods. But I understand that it is really up to the player to keep up with this, because it is part of the game.
