The higher the level you are the more you need to replace things like wheat fields, water wells, mines etc... Perhaps every 15 levels or so add 1 building queue capability instead of being at 3 at all times throughout the game.

here is a sugestion: it may be a good idea to be able to see if other guild members are online.
also can u put a advert tab so ppl can post deals and requests of resorces instead of clustering up the global tab.
thx for a gr8 game!
winsland :)
be able to transfer any building
hire some chat moderators, it gets kinda old seeing players talking smack and harassing others all the time in chat .its not like you can ignore them or anything.
can we please please please get some speed on the trade market update or at least more info on what the update is going to look like or a time frame for when....it would be great if this would include either the ability to have multiple resources on the market at once and perpetually, or the ability to send people counter offers because i see people selling what i'm looking to buy all the time and it would be great if there was a way to be like say "instead of 400 logs for that i'm offering 200 planks, deal??"
Not sure if this is a suggestion or a bug, so double-posting...
I'm playing this game on a netbook, which means I have a tiny screen. Is there any way to get the building menus to have scrollbars? Because they're taller than the space I have, which means I can't build *anything* in the top row(s?). Sort of a problem. Thanks.
How about an easier way to get gems. Instead of buying them or through the daily reward which is only once every 7 days. People don't have alot of extra cash to spend
add a + - icon for building levels . Great game btw
hi everyone i been playing for a bit here and was wondering is it possible that the warehouse have an indacater showing if your are gaining in supplies or lossing supple like and arrow . have it pointing up if you are gainning supplies or having it down letting you know that you need to get more before you run out.
i think a second provision house and barracks is a must.
It would be nice if we could have the option to decide which buildings can and can't be buffed, if that's what a player elected. I know some people have their production nice and tidy; set on a rotating time schedule to fit their lives and work requirements and that buffing some things would throw a proverbial monkey wrench into their mix.
I would suggest it be as simple as adding a "toggle" feature in the form of a check box to each building to allow or not allow that building to receive a buff. The code would only have to be written one time, then copied onto each building model.
Thanks for your time and attention in this.
When a water well goes exhausted it turns green and matches the ground or hides behind the tree. I think it would be good if the little red flag would pop up just like any other building when there out of some thing still break but show where it is thank's.
can the building upgrade costs please get changed....500 coins for a level 4 building is completely overpriced, the gem shop sells 100 coins for 350 gems with 200 gems costing $2....this means that one level 4 building is worth 8$???????????? ya right.....i love the game so far but extreme lack of improvement coming from the programmers is starting to make me think about looking elsewhere for my gaming experience, trade market needs an overhaul before May, not later into the summer is one example of tortoise speed improvement of CEO
Make mines, quarries, fields, water endless, this game is very very slow and this will speed it up. Make generals have levels and stats and also a bonus for troops, its gets very repetitive and old losing troops every time. Guilds need to provide some type of bonus for being in one, Let guilds produce special buffs through donations to the guild.
This may have been suggested already. It would be nice to have an automatic trade’s button we can turn on or off. That way when we make a trade it’s automatically done on both sides and goes into our warehouse and we get an email stating as such. If someone has a limited supply they turn the button off and do trades as usual. If you have 40,000 fir wood and trade for water or fish you turn it on.
I did a 3 player adventure today and realised it was completely difficult to discuss back and forth between everyone with regards to strategy and who was doing what. I think there needs to open up a special chat window for the 3 players to talk together instead of having 1 relay the msgs back and forth or use a different out of game chat system. It would be nice if game developers could look into this option for the multi-player adventures.
I know players want to be able to move buildings with little or no penalty, I disagree. I have knocked 100’s of buildings down and moved them, including L4 and L5. I am contemplating knocking down my L4 barracks (5000 Gold to upgrade). I would rather get materials back from all levels instead of just the 1st level.
as a former LOU player i was thinking about ways to improve the game that would benefit players and ubisoft (that way hopefully it would be implemented in a somewhat timely fashion), and the idea i came up with was to have what i call a governor. this governor would be able to do at least 2 things: continuously buff buildings with a certain type of buff for the player until you ran out of those types of buffs, and post trades on the market for you where you set it up like if fir planks in storage is greater than X, sell for Y units of Z resource.....this governor would cost like 5-6$ a month (in gems), this is a pretty fair price to people for the benefit provided, and gives ubisoft a great source of income that would sustain growth of the game......any thoughts??
I heard there was some discussion about being able to move buildings. Does anyone know if this is going to happen?
So, here's my idea: A mattress store. It'd be a gem item, say, 500, 750, or 1000 gems. Y'all's choice, it's your game lol.
The function of it, if it's feasible, would be to create a checklist of buildings on your island. Next to each building would be a check mark (duh, it's a checklist lol). If it's not checked, it's awake and active and running. If you put a check next to it, it'll go to sleep, just like selecting the building manually and telling it to turn off production.
I don't know if this is feasible, or just far-fetched, but so many people I know in game run their buildings only when buffed, and sleep them when they're not. Just figured this might be a nifty idea for the buff fanatics out there.

I know everyone would be happy to be able to move their buildings, but I don't think that is entirely necessary. I might be happier if I could just rotate buildings not mines but storehouses and buildings not attached to ore deposits. Rotation of their door to better my production times without moving/tearing down the building would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
I am amazed that with so much else that could be improved, Ubisoft took time to rename Beer to Brew. Thanks, Ubisoft! :P
Joke aside, a suggestion:
Provide a list of all materials that shows the in-flow vs. out-flow rates throughout your island to be able to see where your production is low. E.g. I want to see my coal or iron bar or whatever else production amount per hour vs. consumption per hour so that I can tell if I need more or less production or if I need to upgrade next or if I really just be building a new building. I would find that very useful.
Thanks!
i know this will never happen, but what if in order to post a trade to market you had to be willing and able to do the trade in either direction???......i.e. to post a trade of 400 planks for 5 coins, both 400 planks and 5 coins (and however many multiples of such a deal you wanted to be possible to make) would be taken from your use and put into the "bank" as available for trade and then the people could either buy at 5 coins from you or sell to you at 5 coins..... that would really help out as far as eliminating bogus trades and pushers, as well as keeping the market from being cluttered up with all these ridiculous offers like a stack of stone for 20+ coins for example
A simple UI enhancement: when showing the amount of resources (in the house menu for example), I think it would be good to show one digit after the dot when showing more than 1K. The difference between 1.1K and 1.9K is substantial and I don't like having to hover with the mouse to get a better idea of the exact amount in the tooltip.
i think it would be a great idea to be able to select a building and have it automaticaly buffed as long as the buffs are available, this would be massivly helpfull for gold producers like me
Minigames.
- Chess,
- checkers,
- backgammon,
- darts,
- billiards,
- go fish,
- horseshoes,
- horse races,
- jigsaw puzzles, and
- bowling.
Maybe let people make wagers too from an arcade building.
That way, players have something to do during downtime. The meaning of life is not to build endless industry and wage war. The meaning of life is to have fun. Sometimes, this game feels like work. Minigames could make it more enjoyable.
I love that Settlers is now an Online Game. But I do miss the OLD style settlers game where you have a story and campaign. And each "level" or "map" you start off fresh again and have a 'challenge' goal. To reach the portal. So you have to rebuild your enconmy to rebuild your troops and fight your way/expand towards the portal. When you're done you get the next story element or fancy cut scenes or whatever it was as a visual reward and new map/level.
If you can some how work out adventures into a longer/epic level like challege where you get a landing party of a few settlers. You build the town hall and rebuild from there to complete the map goals, that would be more interesting. Once you complete the map you get rewards from towards you main base.
Or possibly a way to transfer your settlement to a new map/island. Since you have a build limit. You can slowly rebuild your buildings in the new map zone area by tearing down your current? The current map is starting to get old for me. And the fact that everybody has the same layout is kind of boring.
i like the idea of how production is set up, but at times the resources required to level up can be overly restrictive. i would also like storehouses to light up like a general camp that tells you their area of influence. by knowing a area of influence of a storehouse, people could organize their structures better. consider making the trees and basic rocks relocatable. the terrain is awesome, but to me it makes it near impossible to establish good order of the structures. given the cost of building the coal, iron, copper ore shafts, consider either raising their base amount perhaps a little bit or dont make the structure collapse. just make it have to be refound like usual. i realize you can buy gems and buy deposits. i buy gems myself, but it can get a bit out of hand. instead of destroying the building, perhaps instead revert it to a lv1 build, since most people level them up for good flow. if you do that. keep the base cost the same but tweak the leveling up cost to reflect. look at iron ore for example its like 200 marble and 200 hwp and 150 tools i think then the upgrade takes just tools. my idea would have the base structure remain but perhaps lv 2 costs you 50 of each type and stair step it. when it exausts, it reverts to level 1 and have to be refound, but if you want it leveled back up you have to repay the 50 of each for lv2 and so on. and finally i know the ability to move buildings is supposed to be coming. i just wish to hear a clearer idea of when if you please. sincerely, charles mossell
A few of us were discussing the other night about the tediousness of replacing 40+ fields and 100+ wells a day. We came to the conclusion that it would be far more efficient to put a replace button on the exhausted site which could be pressed to have the site rebuild without it going into the queue. An even more efficient method of this would be to have the settler working at the site automatically rebuild the well/field when it runs dry if the building materials are available in the storehouse. This would eliminate a lot of the tedious maintenance to the home island. People who have the cash could of course still buy the silos and keep their fields running indefinitely, but those of us who rely on rebuilding them everyday would be saved a bit of the headache.
Get Gems for some# of fair trades.
this is an interesting concept - it reminds me of the "pub games" minigames that were integrated into fable ii. for those unaware, winning wagers in those minigames yielded coin, weapons, armor, etc. that could be used in the actual game. rather than traditional games found elsewhere, these 3 games were unique spins on card/dice games. i would be quite interested in something like this. i'd like to see a wager system integrated, but perhaps keep the wagers of low relative worth so as not to detract from the actual gameplay - a max of say 5gpc - something that could just as easily be earned via trades, quests or production.
You should be able to build roads in sectors that you have conquered but have not yet built a storehouse in. Before I decide where to build my storehouse, I like to plan out where my buildings will be layed out in that sector. In fact the only time I want to use roads is before I build my storehouse in a new sector.
Ive been playing this game for a few days now... Ive Liked It & How everything works... Its Somewhat similar to Evony ( A Game I Really love & Played for over 3 years now ) ... I Want to help & create this game BETTER than evony ... Its still in beta so developers are obviously working hard on making changes ETC. .... PVP is a what everyone loves and wants...Create a type of PVP experience whhere you grow an army & not only attack NPC's.... Create a wide variety of soldiers....a map where you can find enemies ETC. & make 'GUILDS' more interesting & something you'll want or need throughout the game... Make it more interesting than Evony & i can guarantee you ...you will win millions :D
