Make a ship yard to build ships so you can sail to and settle other lands.
Guild house upgrades:
Would require a system to donate resources into a guild storehouse
Forestry Management Service:
Build a network of forest ranger stations to help manage your forests
Lv 1: 2000 Horses, 15000 pine wood -- reduce pine wood forester production cycle from 2:15 to 2:10
Lv 2: 10000 Horses, 10000 hardwood -- reduce hardwood forester production cycle from 6:45 to 6:40
Lv 3: 20000 Water, 2000 exotic wood -- reduce hardwood foresters from 6:40 to 6:35
etc....
Transportation ministry:
Develop a better network of bridges, roads, and navigation charts.
Lv1: 50000 stone, 20000 pine logs -- reduce travel time to adventure islands from 30:00 to 29:50
Lv2: 150000 stone, 100 map fragments -- reduce travel time to adventure islands from 29:50 to 29:40
Lv3: 400000 stone, 400 map fragments -- reduce travel time to adventure islands from 29:40 to 29:30
etc...
Horse breeding center:
Develop better, faster, stronger horses for use in your guild
Lv1: 2000 horses, 15000 wheat -- reduce stable production cycle from 6:00 to 5:55
Lv2: 30000 water, 10000 horses -- reduce cavalry training time from 18:00 to 17:55
Lv3: 200000 water, 100000 wheat -- reduce stable production cycle from 5:55 to 5:50
etc...
Here's my suggestion fix sons of the veld
this adventure is way to hard to do
because you can't block
there are to many leaders in every sector
the loss is to great
just fix it please
every other adventure you can block in so you should be able to block in this one
all the other adventures have on leader per sector why does this one have 3
OT - Sons of the Veldt is probably the most underestimated adventure. You gain 33k EP, you may sell the lootspot for 500-700 coins, you loose like 1k militia and 220 cavalry (there are ten block in my version) and the drop is quite good.
And back to the topic, it would be nice, if we could know when exactly a mine runs out of resources.

I would like to be able to switch to women character pictures of star menu professions. Also be able to level with EP the characters to make them do things faster. Like after getting enough EP you can choose to spend bread to level.
lvl 1 normal time
lvl 2 95% of time
etc all the way to 50% of time to complete tasks.
"Fast generals," the battle hardened and veteran, travel to adventures twice as fast and recover twice as fast. How about making them walk twice as fast too? So slow when they have to transfer from one point to another.
We've been coming up with ideas for halloween and april fools. for halloween the shadow of a dragon should pass over the islands fairly often. this can be reused for april fools when he sets fire to things which burn (but doesnt really halt production). also the deer on halloween should all wear grass skirts and the wolves should be in sheeps clothing.. hahahah. non related to holidays, we all joke about the gold coins needing to be the size of wagon wheels, so when the coiner goes to the storehouse he should be pushing a huge wheel sized gold coin.

Hello, First of all thank you for the game. I have been a Settler 4 and 3 gamer for years. With that in Settlers 4 when a building was selected there was an arrow that would take you to the next building of that type. I found that very useful and would not mind if it was included in this version also. Again, thank you for this game!
Verdaeni, that's a fine idea. Not sure about my stuff burning though....
How about for the halloween event creating a new General along with the Grim Reaper,you might offer say a Scarecrow General,a Skelton General,or maybe a Pumpkinhead General,or say a Witch General maybe then those of us that are long time players can a have a shot at getting a new general other than the Grim Reaper. Also on your night version of the game it would be nice if you could have the lanterns maybe some of the buildings glow as you did with the Christmas Trees
A warning, or "Are you sure?" would have been nice, when I just finished a building using gems, on accident. I meant to click on the building in queue, to take me to it on the map. Instead, I wasted a few precious gems.
It would be really good to have officer only option on guildmail
and also for guildmail to either a Guildmail tag with the sender's name or be in a different colour and have a different symbol in the mailbox - maybe a shield? Guildmembers often think you have written to them personally.

Hot Keys for farms, wells and anything often used would be nice
How about when you level up a mine, you get more resources instead same amount just depleted faster.
Also love the naming of the generals as well as letting them level up and eventually get to do some damage. It's pretty sad that you spend money to get a general just for the sake of bringing along more troops.
I also would like to see a death depletion. In battle instead of if you kill all the enemy troops on your turn they hit back they are dead! Same for the cpu, if the enemy kills all ours they are dead and there is no hitting back. In other words once your dead your dead!

How about adventures for 5 or more players? It would be nice to have an adventure that all or most guild members could go on together. The larger player adventures would be more fun to do over and over again because there would be a larger selection of plays to choose from.
How about resource fields turning a different color when they reach a certain level to make it easier to know which ones are ready to be crushed. Or an addition to the new overview that gave that information. It would also be nice if clicking on an item in the overview would take you to that resource. It would make finding a building or resource field easier when you are not sure where you put it.
We should be able to sort our adventures in our star menu so we can keep better track of what we have

Two things about upgrades.
The only way to see the status of a building upgrade is via the % indicator on the main map.
1) If your building is behind a tree, you have no way of telling the status of your upgrade.
2) Statuses are only available in a percentage. On a seven day upgrade, I have to whip out the calculator to see how many hours, days to go.
What if an upgrading building had on its data tile: "UPGRADING: 50% 3Days 12Hours 0Minutes 1Second until completion"

I really liked laying out my map with roads so I knew where I could place buildings with great efficiency.
But Building roads was VERY mouse click intensive.
Click Buildings, Click Roads, Click Start Point, Click End Point, Click Buildings, Click Roads, Click Start Point, Click End Point, Click Buildings, Click Roads, Click Start Point, Click End Point, Click Buildings, Click Roads, Click Start Point, Click End Point, Click Buildings, Click Roads, Click Start Point, Click End Point, etc.
How about a HotKey for Creating roads?
Or configure it like Erase Roads where Road creation only requires you to click "Start Point / End Point" "Start Point / End Point" "Start Point / End Point" and then deactivate the Road Creation Tool when done?
Roads are such a great tool and I'm not surprised few people use them because their creation is very labour intensive.

Ok hear is and idea a Stock House where you place material inside the stock house, choose a price and it becomes a trade request in trade channel and remains forever or 24 hours. With the fire sale up and running it could also be placed in a sperate folder of the trade channel so you could keep it closed or open it to see whats on the market. You can add to the amount inside but can not remove out of it once its set to a fire sale.

Buffs:
Buff's are a fantastic thing and essential in some things (gold chain). However, buff durations can be quite hazardous. In the regards to my meaning, is I would love to buff my gold chain while at work. However I work for 9 hours a day not including travel time, thus leaving my chain running without buffs for a period of time and infact losing me money for that period.
Proposed solutions:
Allow buff stacking. By this I mean if a buff duration is 9hours or under, another buff may be stacked onto it. eg making it 18 hours
Partial buff stacking: if a friend has buffed my building (9h), I may add my own buff to it (6h). Only 1 friend & 1 Self buff per building.
Increase buff durations: 8h self 12h friend...cmon would be great!
I started writing a huge blurb about Player vs Player. A lot based from a game called utopia. Mostly pertaining to troop losses & recovery, honour from PvP and bonuses involved. However might spruce that up a little bit and submit at a later date.

Ability to remove a buff
its getting more difficult to get Parrots from Gem sellers. Here is a major GAME changer ! The Provision house is already an awesome however its missing a few things.
It makes Fish and Meat Deposits. I think it should also make: GOLD parrots , Iron, Marble, coal and copper Deposits.

Could we have an option to turn in an adventure for the 3 map fragments that we would have received if our explorer hadn't found an adventure at all? There are a couple of adventures that aren't worth as much as a map fragment, so at least this way we could get something for them.

How about an "Unsleep All" button?
Some of my friends and guild members have a system for marking buildings when we are swapping large quantities of baskets. We put the buildings we want buffed to sleep to make them easy to find. Then after they have been buffed we have to unsleep all the buildings one by one. Not a big deal, but an "Unsleep All" button would be great..
How about just fix the servers
Make buffs additive (eg) if I hit my freinds building with a basket, he gets 9 hours of buff. If I hit it with 2 baskets, he gets 18 hours of buff. It reduces time to maintain buff-buddy commitments and will drop traffic on server which can't be bad (especially in light of the fact that the servers are down yet again).
#1: Allow buff layering--e.g., putting 2 sandwiches on the same building for 4 hours of buff
#2: Resource time countdown--mouse hovering over a resource deposit shows the amount of time left until the resource is depleted, not just the amount of resource(obviously not trees but all other deposits)
#3: Decrease production time--have roads decrease travel time for production; be able to allocate more than 1 worker to a factory to decrease production time
#4: Customizable resource display bar at the top of the screen--be able to choose the resources displayed
Please fix:
1: Sometimes when I put buildings to sleep the "Zzz"s do not stay above the building--then a friend buffs it and it does me no good.
2: Sometimes the travel time it takes for my trees to replenish does not match the route that pops up when I click on the building (the time is like 4 minutes too long).
Great Game, Love it, here are a few suggestions for the developers:
1) Decrease the amount of resources to achieve the next level. The game is great up to lvl 3, then the resources required are exponentially increased to get to lvl 4.
2) not really a suggestion, but I hear great things about the next patch (18 Oct???), can't wait for it, so excited.
I think it would be cool if you could train your general and have him rank up to higher levels bringing up all the stats of your archers, swordsmen,...that are fighting under him.
make it so we can purchase all gem items for gc, i think it would benifit all the player, or make it that a few item can be purchesed, decorations, drillplan, watermills, etc
im sick of selling all my GEMS, and the gem house is way over prices !!!!
I would like to see the Mr. Myers as a provision house buff. It would have to be expensive - 500 brew, 250 bread, 150 coins, and 60 min or so. Would give something for top players to spend coins on, and mid level players something else to sell.
