That's actually a reasonably well-thought out list. I support Forrell's suggestions. Any one else?
In the trade screen I'd honestly just like the ability to type the number instead of the scroll bar.
LARGER IRON MINE DEPOSITS
Instead of geo skill of "Hidden Coal Stash", how about one to find bigger iron deposits. the codex skill does not cut it
One button to buff all and any type of building would be nice to have. I hate buffing all my building. It would take at least 3-5 mins to buff it all.
can we get an email notification on attacks made by other players for our adventures so we don't have to keep guessing or trying to make contact with players we don't normally see or know. making that particular mail notice stand out somehow would be nice as well.
would also be nice to have an adventure chat tab open up when invites are accepted for easier co op run communications.
Could you please reverse something for me. Please let us click the resource and then click the star menu to add as much fish as we want, repeatedly, as to allow for quicker restocking of fish or emptying loot into the mansion. Like, let us click the mansion then click repeatedly what we want to put in there so wee keep the star menu open and just have to click, click, click, and click on the different items we want transferred to the useable stock. I get so tired of having to click the star menu between each and every transaction. This would be nice for buffing too. If we could just click the type of buff we want then click till they are gone it would be sooo much more fun.
+1 nice idea!!!!!
More decorations. I'd like swing sets in the schoolyard and parks. Maybe a dog house with a dog.
Would also be nice if we could add bridges over narrow waterways.
How about going back to the original settlers that had harbors, ships and travel. That was really nice. In addition, I remember the settlers actually eating, meaning you had to factor in the food for the general population. Makes the economy a bit more challenging.
that was more Anno the earlier settlers you kept moving on the map clearing sectors and building, but yes this is more of some type of "tycoon" game more than the settlers. it was called castle empire before, Ubisoft bought the rights to the game settlers and renamed it
You guys gave us all these level 6 builds we can do...but no way to get grout! You think you can put grout in the merchant somewhere?
I would really like it if we get a history of the economy with graphs. In which you can see how the production of all resources have increased/decreased over a period of time. I wouldn't mind paying gems for this!!!
BB wants to create more revenue for their game. Hard to do that when you get a bunch of level 50 players that has everything, everything is upgraded, and so on.
My suggestion is, maybe have an official end to the game. Once you meet the milestones like to have all/certain % buildings upgraded to level 5, and completed X amount of achievements. Don't tie PvP into those achievements because not everyone does them or wants to. But if players do play them, have some of those achievements tied into it.
Once the player gets to that point they qualify to end their game. Have an "End Game" option where they can get a gem based reward to put towards their next round of games. And I'm not talking about just 500 gems here! Some players put real money into the game. It'll be nice to have some of that, even a portion carried on to the next restarts. Even if it means having to wait X amount of time or reach X level(s) to unlock a set gem amount, have us gifted gem pits so we slowly get those gems to use that we paid for. I can see that as being a hard one to find an amicable solution between real cash players, non cash players, and BB.
Of course, if players wish to continue playing their original game longer they can and hit complete at a later date. The choice can be up to them, especially if BB decides any new games means no gem reimbursement.
But if they do hit "End game" than a new game and island gets generated for them. A new island that looks different than the one they just had with new camps they must clear to win each section. With all new placements for resources, mines, mountains, Mayor House, general's landing zones, back to starting amount of gens, scouts, Geo's, etc. BB obviously has an island generator program. If not, maybe a good time to look into getting one.
I'll agree, losing custody of my 3 lucky scouts (all nice and science tree'ed out), MMA's, Vets, fast Geo's, and other fast scouts would suck… but once again, maybe BB can come up with a solution on trickling those "sometimes real money bought units" back to the player after certain achievements/levels are met.
If an end of the game was given, not everyone will be happy with how things will be if they hit the button to start again. As in life, you can't please everyone.
I'm pretty sure this has already been proposed but I can't find it... I would pay gems for an option to change my in-game avatar to a different one, would also like the option to buy premium avatars.
Thank you for your consideration.
Being able to highlight/tag buildings (with different colors). This would help:
- as a reminder for upgrade plans
- building placements planning
- for frieds, prefered buffed buildings
- what type of buffs per building, based on the highlighted color
- what not to buff
Sleep mode is not good for this, because it has another and clear purpose.
Maybe introducing "elite" level, with bigger castles, custom pennons, landscaping, more specialized occupations for settlers like apothecary, astrologer, minstrel.
Of course it will be a long time before I get there. :)
Being able to pin the star menu open would be fantastic!
Thanks everyone for your suggestions!
Having the option to give friends/guild special permissions, in order to:
- see economic view
- place mines
- run explorers/geos
Get rid of the RANKINGS button on the main horizontal menu. I am really getting tired of seeing (and accidentally hitting) that boobytrap of a button, that pops up a new internet window to show me a list of things I really really really really don't give a hoot about. Stick it somewhere more appropriate, like a button on the colonies menu, or a button on the pvp rank menu.
There is utterly no excuse for assigning such a trivial function to the most frequently traversed mouse real estate in the game.
I was just chatting with my Guild, and a lot of them haven't levelled up their geologist with Codex's, because they don't think there's enough incentive, I said I wanted to level mine up to get the "lucky upgrade" so I could find the hidden mines, jokingly saying that maybe I would find a hidden gem mine, the Guild Members said if that would happen they would all level up their geologist. Have you guys thought about adding certain "premium mines" and other secret hidden stashes to the maps.
I quite like the gold codices. But otherwise I've skipped them.
our Guild was brainstorming again. We thought that there should be a granite volcano - you purchase the volcano in epic items for 25000 stalks, the when you sacrifice 100 settlers it erupt shooting out 35 granite, which you then have to send your explorers out on short treasure searches to find. - another idea is that 100 settlers walk up an inca pyramid and are sacrificed and gems or granite falls down the pyramids steps which are then picked up the same way as barrels and leather and such.
Here is another idea our Guild came up with, you purchase a meteor shower from epic items, and you get a pretty meteor show, but oh no !, a huge meteor smacks into a random zone (excluding mayor house) and wipes out everything in the zone leaving a huge granite crater (that could be mined) , also the zone topography would be changed and new gold, gem, iron and copper mines would need to be found, also your foresters would have to replant the devastated zone, marble and stone could be mined from the craters rim etc
Given the crazy slow production of the combat armory, a rather small build order can be active for days. Yet this one building doesn't show the number of weapons being built in the queue, unlike the improved displays on the other similar buildings that use the same interface (barracks, provision houses, acadamy). It would be very helpful to have those numbers displayed in the combat armory as well.
Please remove the rankings button from the main menu bar at the bottom of the screen. This button has utterly nothing to do with gameplay (unlike the rest of the buttons there) is utterly useless to the vast majority of your players, and actually does the utterly annoying thing of opening a new window in your internet browser and transporting your focus there. Extremely poor game ergonomics
can we get the messages that pop up on the left hand side of the screen to not over lap the top menu bar? It's a pain in the butt looking at how many troops are loaded and have a message pop up blocking me from accessing the population bar until all message thingys disappear.
The pop-up messages issue has been brought up multiple times before, but I really hope it gets changed as it really is annoying.
I think you should be able to buy a buff at the merchant that you can apply to a general to make him travel to adventures faster, say a redbull (red flying settler )
buff that would make a regular general travel the same as a mma, if you apply it to mma he'll travel 7 1/2 minutes instead of 15
I don't know if these have been suggested before but here i go:
I would really like to see 1 queue slot in the bookbinder. This won't let players not log in for days but would allow for book finish's overnight.
Skills tree for generals. Lots of opportunities here... Could even have a new building to train the general. Could be that you loose the general while he is being trained...
I would like to see an option for the speed of the general walking on the map to be increased. ^^^ Could link to skills tree.
Would like to have the option of sending more than 25 buffs or items in multiple slots in the star menu even if this is bigger than your store all in one go. Something that adds them all up in total to send shouldn't be difficult.
Maybe an in adventure tab to contact a BB or Mod immediately to report an issue which would take a screen shot automatically of the issue and collect relevant data automatically and send to BB or Mod so they can check say the last 5 mins of activity to check for issues.
Thanks Again
Dave
How about a chat window for adventures where the participants in the adventure can just chat amongst themselves to discuss the adventure.
