How do we give posts a thumbs up?
The free move week was also a great idea. Please have another one.

more suggestions:
1) a locker where we can store items and those items will not be visible to the star--for example, a lot of players stock up rare items between events
1a) the locker could be unlocked with a new building--a larder or warehouse, and each level gives u 30 items of storage
1b) when you open the star and the warehouse--u simply slide items between the two
1c) make the initial building cost gems so the game makes $, but the upgrades can cost the usual granite and exotic wood
2) army buffs
2a) a blacksmith buff
2b) key this to a new building similar to idea above
2c) the buff will add 1/2/3% damage reduction to an army when applied to the army
3) a lighthouse
3a) when the lighthouse is lit--use torches made in the provision house OR use lots and lots of wood
3b) then armies gain a 10%/20%/30% return travel time back to the island from an adventure--per level of the lighthouse
Perhaps due to real life and my having to take a year off a couple of years ago this is answered officially somewhere already, but I would like to see the guild bank get implemented in some fashion. In response to some of the concerns I was able to find (and one of my own):
- Cost: I am sure the cost issue is much less of a problem at this point in the game
- Paying in: Make sure that all paid ins can be checked by leadership
- "Theft": Only leaders (or even a player by player "switch") can approve removals from guild bank
- Leaving guild: If a guildie leaves the guild, a "flag" placed on all items paid into the guild bank for buildings would force those items back to the bank
- Quitting game: Allow a way for guildies quitting game to donate everything with 1 click of a button if they would like
Create a development suggestion post open for a couple weeks for other concerns to be able to be sent in and worked out prior to release.
I am still a firm believer that we need another button on the explorer 's search returns...

You know, so I can just trash it there rather than click to accept, click to open the star menus, click to get to the adventure tab, click to find the crummy adventure, and then click again to delete.
I would like to see a new Buff.....A 4 X Buff for the Barracks that lasts 24hrs....And Call it "Ghost Pepper"
How about adding Prolonged Searches to Streetwise Negotiator? And maybe a "free book removal" time when the general book tree comes out? (if prolonged isn't in SN, I want those codices back)
I wish the CLT has the adventure title capitalized correctly. Because it's listed as "The clever Little Tailor", the lowercase c is screwing up the order when advs are listed in alphabetical order.
I also would like to add to the wishlist a buff for the provision houses that only lasts for 1 or 2 hours. All of them that I can find are for 12 hours each.
I would like to see a Pirate Ship that would hold 1k Population that would go in the water
can we get the Guild Bank idea released, not only could members of a Guild place excess resources in there, but if you do an adventure and can't
sell or give away a loot spot, the loot from the empty spot would be deposited into the Guild Bank.
Epic Barracks & Epic Elite Barracks
Same principles as the Epic Farmyard and the Epic Woodyard, with new quest lines similar to The Evil Queen via the Excelsior... unlocking at level 65 or so.
All those Statues from Adventures that are Worthless
I have been gaining a pile of Horseman(Hosed Me) Statues recently from RB... they are worthless as a trade item due to the drop rate.... Why not create a recipe for the statues that seem to accumulate in piles in players stars. it might create a market for them either as statues, buffs or goods. A Example of this would be make the Horseman Statue into Granite Block or a Specialty Buff for the Granite Masons..

Hi KeyMaster,
We recently addressed this question in the AMA thread. You can find this and other answers provided by the developers here.

Got this guild quest today...

... and I happened to be running CLT before work while another guild member was running HLT. Does this really need to be specific to Valiant? What is the harm in changing it to any fairy tale adventure?
While we are at it, I ignored one recently asking to run The Nords. Again, very specific. There is already the coding in place to differentiate similar adventures...

... what is the harm in making it any adventure with Barbarians?
Also there is a Dark Priests one, right? You get the idea.
I smell the risk of having an assumption here..
for all I/we know, the code is spaghetti, which cannot be readily used out of the context it currently works for...
Even touching it, might lead to a bug trail (sounds familiar?)
You may be surprised by the amazing code many developers write.. :D
But then.. to be fair.. may be you are right.. and may be (clean, reusable) code is there..
but now we come to the important subject of priority.. When, why and who is going to do it?
For the amount being paid to the developer(s) and other roles in team, what quantifiable benefit will come out of it?
Note the emphasis on quantifiable.. i.e. even if there is high, but indirect value (like player satisfaction), if it is hard to quantify, most (average) products and services tend to ignore them.. We humans are very poor at understanding, let alone quantifying the second and third order effects of our actions..
Case in point - climate change (controversial topic I guess)..
But anyway.. I digress... back to original topic..
Good luck hoping for the change.. your hopes do not cost BB much (except for a tiny amount perhaps)..
Could we pay gems to upgrade the tavern geologist to conscientious geologist? I'd upgrade them and use them. Or someway to do it in the skills.
Can we get some Logger buffs to permanently cut down trees and brush on the archipelagos? You said we couldn't do it on the main island because we needed a certain amount. I wouldn't think the arch's would count, so we should be able to get rid of them like the stones. I'd also like to get rid of any stone that isn't used for mines and fill in the swamp. I'm out of room.
I have an idea about coops. Everyone gets tons of them but no one plays them. I think that every guild has one or two settlers that would play if they could make a connection. I am one of those players. Not everything every minute has to be the biggest loot or most possible exp points. So my idea is to put up a new line on chat board with new icon for "Co-op". If you can have world chat and guild chat and trade chat then why not coop chat? It would give all those interested in running coops a place to meet, discuss and arrange to do these adventures. Maybe even make new friends. There's room on the bottom of the chat board for a couple more icons.
my sugestions are (1) add pop boost buildings like they(BB)had in ANNO like a fire hall church or marketplace(to add natural town ambeince) that could boost each houses pop by say 1 or 2 people per cumulitive by each intance of fire hall/church/marketplace(market in anno didnt boost pop but was needed for houses to stay around) ect in the influence...(2)Add a tome binder say a 1 shot per day(24 hours) or slightly better with small glue to help book gens and geos ......(3) a new barracks just for say crossbowmen/eleite soldiers and cannons to speed up the normal barracks...(4)more buildings to make our towns look like towns ie caf'es town constables office/tax office (hehe) these can be either ambeince only like the decorations or can have a function like a caf'e making slight amounts of bread and fish sandwiches ect...
Today being 'Canada Day', made me wished we could all display our national/country flag in the corner of our Avatar. That way, I would know where everyone is from. Just a thought for consideration maybe?
Why can't you put another button on the generals to toggle jog on or off for attack mode? You can still do adventure buffs, we'd go even faster.
Okay, must say that the number of Gem Sales lately is nice; however, how about a 3x (200%) sale?! It has been 2 years since the last one. In addition, I have been committed to 'fasting' until the next 3x sale! :D
It would be much appreciated.
The tome recipe will not be used. Please make it useful.
Currently, the Bookbinder creates a tome for me using 605 intermediate paper, 415 printing press letters, and 5 manuscripts.
The tome recipe in the Provision House for me requires 790 intermediate paper, 540 printing press letters, 100 magic beanstalks, and 6 manuscripts.
Since my buffed Provision House barely keeps up with the Bookbinder when supplying the Bookbinder manuscripts, the tome recipe I just got is worthless. Please change it so I and other players will use it to this:
790 intermediate paper, 540 printing press letters, 100 magic beanstalks, 500 exotic wood planks, and 3 manuscripts
So here's the problem with the tome and codex recipes for the rarity prov house, as I see it.
You can't, EVER generate enough manuscripts to need to use the RPH to make those two types of book at the increased cost over the regular bookbinder. It's just not worth the extra cost vs doing the work in your bookbinder.
Since the main source for fast easy (relatively) manuscripts IS the RPH, the process of making a tome or codex in that building is a double hit. First, you get the whammy because you've stopped making manuscripts to do something else. THEN you get the increased cost whammy of making the book in the RPH instead of the bookbinder.
Both recipes should be completely reworked if they are to be anything more than a pair of spot fillers in the RPH menu. It just makes far too much sense to throw some glue on the bookbinder and do all of the 2nd and 3rd tier work in that building as things are currently costed out.
*IF* those recipes were actually cheaper than the bookbinder cost, then I'd have some nail-biting to do over my production choices.
Manuscripts or tomes? Manuscripts or codexes? What to do? As it exists, manuscripts is the only viable choice.
I had a couple hundred manuscripts pre-general skills and will have similar overkill in a couple months, and the only books I had any particular need for were the higher end ones. I could see the potential application if I were in too much of a hurry to wait or needed a lot of books quickly, although this is a somewhat limited scenario.
Yeah, I kinda agree with both of you. If I had a couple hundred manuscripts and I was in a huge hurry, I might... might, make some tomes in the RPH. Otherwise, it's not something i would do because of the increased costs in books. As nice as it would be to queue up everything in the RPH, I just can't bring myself to spend that many books on Tomes and Codex. Maybe next year if I have thousands of manuscripts hanging around I'll change my mind :p........
I had a couple hundred manuscripts before the skill tree for Generals too... they were used so fast, my head is still spinning... and not all my pertinent generals are even skilled yet... IMHO, only manuscript recipe is useful. Sure, in some future time, books will be caught up (like 2025), but then why would I even waste the extra cost incurred by burning them in RPH? If books no longer red hot, save the resources and run in Bookbinder... I made one of each in rph for posterity, but that was it.
Thank you for your responses. All excellent. Please suggest how the tome and codex recipes should be reworked. I went with
790 intermediate paper, 540 printing press letters, 100 magic beanstalks, 500 exotic wood planks, and 3 manuscripts
hoping a slight adjustment might be accepted. Please suggest other ways to rework the two recipes. The easier you make it for them to change the recipes, the more likely they will. You cannot make it easier than by suggesting the ingredients of the new recipes. Please try.
Here is my next request: Please allow players to build a new house. In the new house, the player writes a note. When he logs in, the note appears on screen unless it is empty. Players can use it to remind themselves of something they want to do in the game, particularly to put a temporarily running building back asleep, or to buy the weekly gem package. Writing reminders on scraps of paper placed near the computer is a hassle.
The only change I would need to see in the cost of making tomes and codex in the RPH is the number of manuscripts for tomes and the number of tomes for codex. I'd be fine with 5 manuscripts for each tome, 3 tomes for each codex, just like the bookbinder, with the additional resources being the price paid for the faster time and the ability to queue them up. Making it cost 1 more manuscript per tome and 1 more tome per codex pushes it past what is fair and reasonable.
There's a handy feature where we can rearrange the production queue... in barracks, provision house, build queue, etc. Individual orders have a little golden arrow (one for up, one for down) that moves an item by exchanging it one place above or below.
I would like to see please a double up arrow that moves an item to the head of the queue, immediately after the currently active item. (A double down, to go to the end of the queue, could also be possible, but it is the double up I really want!)
I sometimes need to get an item ASAP, and it is a pain to move it up through the queue one step at a time. (This is mainly when I have a big queue in the barracks to set up a particular army).
Thanks -- Wruined
Redesign 'Send Army' window.
It takes too much time to find the appropriate generals for an adventure. More generals should be visible and also some kind of filter. For example show all generals having units. But it would be best to have a saved set up generals which we can re-use for repetitive adventures. It's also annoying that the 'Send Army' window keeps changing order.
