- Firwood planks and stones are useful in the Provisions House!
- Some values are different than the Provision House, the market value may be better.
- "Update" the trade list often and "send trade request" as soon as you see a trade you like to avoid being "declined."
- Save gold for upgrades!
- You can accept each of the trades, meaning there are no bad trades.
*The values of expert resources cannot be determined at this time. I will update as soon as we are able to mine/produce them.
*Trading is based on supply & demand. Please use this chart as a baseline.
*This is not a "trading guide," it is more of a "value" of resources to each other.

I like this. It is an accurate value guide.
It certainly can help in deciding prices in market, but as we know, they will fluctuate according to other variables.
I really like this guide and will use it for my Guild Trade House.
Thank you for taking the time to compile it.

This is very nice indeed.

Very nice to see someone attempt this, just a few things to point out in case u decide to go further in depth with this. Please dont take this as me pointing out mistakes, but some of the values are just not accurate and so I'm trying to help. Copper should be higher, coal and meat are def worth more than wheat, marble and hw planks are extremely close in value, beer is over valued, bows and iron swords are over valued, and horses could be made slightly higher. Any questions feel free to conatc me in game or here as well as I'll check this regularly and help you better solidify this list if you dont mind my assistance.

I tried to do something like this a while back [link invalid - removed]. I mostly got negative responses at the time, but I do think it's a worthwhile endeavor, and i hope you have better luck than I did. It was probably too early to get good estimates then and I don't agree with all of your values now, but those types of details can be worked out in conversation. It's a big hurdle just to get that conversation started without being shut down by people who don't want their "customers" to know they're being ripped off.
That being said I have to disagree with your placement of hardwood. I think hardwood planks and marble are closer to the same value, and if anything, marble is slightly more valuable because it continues to be needed in more higher level buildings. I also don't think hardwood planks are 3 times as valuable as hardwood. A slight surplus or shortage of mills can make a 3/2 trade of hardwood to planks a decent deal. Personally, I would put hardwood at 4 and hardwood planks at 6.

I'm looking to possibly add this list as a tool on [link invalid - removed]. What values would you assign to Map Fragments, gold bars, and gold coins?
-
This should be considered price fixing or at least point out that the demand at time out weighs the ratios..
-
Oh, I'm placing a note that the real trading is based on demand, and that this is just considered a baseline.
Edit: The Trade calculator is now live at [link invalid - removed]
Audrey, I gave you credit at the site for coming up with the original numbers.

Just an FYI, here is a link to a german calc that has had a lot of work done to balance things. Again it does not calculate demand but I find it to be very accurate when comparing things http://blog.nessio.net/die-siedler-o...andelsrechner/
