as I land and begin doing this adventure I will give you the run down of the best strategy to be able to do this mission with the least amount of losses and by doing this the quickest...

wohoo, cool, any update coming? like troop needed n going to loose, etc :p where's the captain pirate?

I lost 611 recruits, 32 cavalry, and 59 militia my estimation is if you don't want to throw away and cavalry or militia it will take 850-875 Recruits... I took the way out that cost less time... yes I lost a few horses and militia... but it was worth it to muscle through for this guide. and the fact that I had 200 militia and 150 cavalry just hanging around... if you don't want to throw away "valuables" then expect to lose at least 850 recruits...

First Camp

Is this adventure really the "most hated" adventure of all? It wasn't bad.
I lost 753 recruits and 28 soldiers.

The losses are pretty high considering the xp you get for it.

I don't see a point in doing this adventure. Better to do another or search for others, unless you are really desperate for the xp and have troops to burn.

I'm very curious as to why you sent the first wave of 130 Recruits and did not just one-wave this camp?

You could have sent 140 Recruits and 60 Militia and lost only 140R/7-20 Militia, and taken the camp in one wave?

because after you kill the sabrerattlers the crazy cook absorbs the damage before you damage any other troops... there is no way to do this with one wave... look at wave 2... I used MORE militia then you used in your estimation... WAVE 2!... that is without the 100 sabrerattlers... it would've have been a huge waste because even with your numbers... I wouldn't have killed the 100 sabre's and the cook... just a good way to waste 60 militia and 10 extra recruits for no reason at all

there is no way possible.... you are using less militia and more recruits... which means lower health to give away... and less damage to give... think about it... there is no way in hell that would work...100 recruits and 100 militia would be wiped out... if you'd send the group you said works number wise... almost every recruit would be dead turn 1... you might have 40 left... IF THAT is a near perfect rng... which means you'd have 40 recruits and 60 militia... I just don't see how it would be possible... unless you are the luckiest guy in the world when it came to rng... honestly... look at the last camps build... look at the order in which they attack... with 100 recruits and 100 militia it took a FULL TURN to kill the cook... That is with near perfect RNG... no way you could take down 100 sabrerattlers and the cook with a 140 R and 60 M build let alone the entire camp in one wave... I don't need a number generator to tell me I'm right... the number generator probably treats the cook as if he's the last attacked, in which case you might actually be able to pull this off with 1 wave... but the cook is the second to die... not the last... trust me

been doing this adventure for quite a while now and i am only losing around 590-610 recruits..

below is my garrison set-up..

650 recruits
188 cavalry
155 soldier


and i got 900 granite and 1 motherly love for each completed adventure =)

I've run 100R, 50M, & 50S for the final camp. Had 4M and 50S survive. I've heard that it is possible to lose 1 Soldier

So was this adventure updated or something? How are most people getting 200 granite but one person claims to get 900?

Yes, Pirates was updated during the Christmas Patch. They upped the rewards and lowered the # of 2nd Class PO's. Actually a good Adventure now.

Agreed the update made a huge difference in this adventure. Its a very worthy compliment to something like horseback, since you could do an exp adventure (horseback) and then pirates (resource) and it would be very nice rewards and around 10k exp- all for around 900 total troops lost none of them expensive ones.
