I just finished this adventure.
I only attacked camps 1/6/4, and got 4450 exp and a tonne of great loot....basically i saved myself 250 recruits in return for 2360 less exp. Maybe if i do this quest again i might give up the extra 250 recruits for 2360 more exp...not really sure....either way, was well worth the losses in return for the exp and loot.
Thanks to the guys who posted all of this info, it was a big help.

In regards to this, yes you do save the 53-70 militia, however you end up losing:Quote:
Also to save a few losses on the witch tower I will share my formula:
Wave 1 - 90 recruit, 4 militia, 3 soldiers, 65 cavalry, 2 longbowmen.
Wave 2 - 90 recruit, 60 soldiers, and 50 longbowmen.
In wave 1: 4 militia, 3 soldiers
In wave 2: 26 Soldier
Total: 4 Militia & 29 soldiers
So your gonna lose some soldiers here instead of militia. However, the cost is less to re-build the soldiers, so it does make more sense, but takes some time though.
Other than that, great guild and great formula.
Well I ran the first wave but ya didn't mention the 26 soldiers would be lost in 2nd wave.. I came up with this formula for 2nd wave that works with alot less expense. This is assuming that only the Witch and High Priest are to be fought in 2nd wave.Quote:

My attacks and losses:
1: 115R, 85S - 108-115R
6: 1st wave: 111R, 65C; 2nd wave 60R, 20S, 120LB losses 171R, 4-18S, 65C
4: 1st wave: 197R; 2nd wave 25R, 55S, 120LB losses 222R
5: 115R, 85S - 108-114R
You lose no LB and max 18S. You must lose 65 C. Recruit losses approx 623R. You lose 26 more recruits then cliffkuo but zero militia to his 53-70M and 10 less C
The cost of not taking out Camp 5 is high. XPs only 4450 without it....a cost of 2360 XPs for only an additional 100-120 R.

You should update the Guide cuz with the new pathing you can hit the BC right after the 1st camp ;)
I just finished this quest, but with some changes. I blocked camp1, and took out the Tower first. I used wave1: 135R,10M,45C wave2: 70M,125LB and lost 66M. To block camp1, I set 2 generals in the 'start here' island, there are only 2 spots available, the closer general I used for blocking. I sent the second general as the blocker just started walking beside the river. The timing is critical here, you only have about 2 seconds of error. For the Bone church I used wave1: 180R,10M and wave2: 25R,25M,25S,125LB and lost 25 R. Next time I will only use 24R, just to save one more. Total losses were 340R,86M, and 45C. only 4450 XP, but I did not feel that camp5 was worth the losses, Ill just do another witch adventure instead.
