[Bug] Friend buffs not taking

When buffing a friend, for some reason these buffs do not seem to be taking sometimes. Sometimes part of the buffs you try to apply to a friend will take and others won't. When this happens, it seems that the buildings are lost in some sort of buff verification queue: normally there is a small delay when friend buffing before the game applys the buff, but now it seems to be taking forever and tieing up the baskets and preventing those buildings from being buffed.

Since it's common to trade basket buffs, this is quite an annoying bug. I have seen some folks where baskets did not apply for hours even.
