Many of the users lately are having trouble logging in to the game, this is due to mostly the new music and the new buildings with animations are filling up there browsers cookies and cache and that it needs to be cleared for shorter queue times. As a side note Unbutu is not supported, therefor users using this will not be able to log in to the game.
Cookies and temp files are not the problem. I emptied all of mine and still couldn't login last night. My husband also had this problem on his PC. This morning, we both could magically login from our seperate pcs.. Also, when this happens I do get errors on the page. Next time it happens I will send you the code errors in case that helps.
A screen shot of the error message would be great. Does it by chance look like this?

i am able to log in but clicking on the play now button doesnt do anything and i did clear my brower cache with no luck ????
I know that sometimes the game will make myself log in multiple times before it recognizes the log in and lets me in the game, have you been able to get into the game yet?

Is there a way to de-link from a FB account. Room-mate can't log in anymore. Uplay tells her someone is log in from a fake FB account.
She was able to get on earlyer this Morn.
To separate your account from your Facebook account and register it to a UBI/Uplay account after doing so I can give you access to delete your account. To unlink your account from Facebook you must first log on to Facebook, then go to your settings and click on privacy settings from there you will be able to manage all of your apps that are connected using Facebook. Simply select the aplication and then select "remove".
for me it says FAILED TO CONNECT and then it gives me a lot of options that don't help at all
I have been unable to log in for over 2 hours now. The game does not load 100%: chat does not load and the map is blank. I have deleted/cleaned up my computer files and I still cannot log in.

Hello,
I am a player form Netherlands and playing via US server. I am unable to log in after patch previous week (12/08/11).
Constantly freeing all date, cache, temp files, temp internet files but with no result at all.
I log in on cstleempire then hit button Play and system tries to contact the Zeus[Welt 1] server but failing for a week now:(:(
Anyone tech/support help to solve this issue?

I no longer can log on. I have emptyed my browser cache 10 times so far and can not log on anymore
I have tried installing a new browser with no help there.
I have not been able to log on all day today, message tells me that I must empty my browser cache, (so far i have emptyed it 9 times in a row, i have even removed my brouser and installed a new one with no help.
I can't log in. I get an error to delete my cache from my browser.
Yesterday is when I started getting this problem and I went to
tools/options/network/changed my Limit cache to 0 and pressed clear now.
Worked fine until I tried to log on this morning. I tried using Firefox,
google chrome and internet explorer. I get the same error from all three. I
even restarted my computer
Oh nos! It's the return of the "Cannot load data file. Please clear your cache" error! Did it but it doesn't help!
I am probably going to lose adventure because of it. Already spent a lot of resources and got to the last camp, now I can't do much: the produced settlers are not loading, the researched mines are missing, bought a buff for settlers just to get more: it's not working. Clearing cache makes no difference. I even downloaded a new Mozilla-engine browser which supports game - it also says clear old browser cache. Do you think it will be fixed in less than three hours? I still want to finish the adventure
well, for now i think we just have to wait for them to fix this issue (i think they are already addressing it). We just need to check every hour or so if we can now login without problem. happy boxing day! =)

I am sure you are aware of this and are currently working to make it better.
However, I cannot login. I can click on "sign in with facebook' and I can
click on "Play Now" but after that, the game does not load, or loads very
slowly.
Last night, while wrapping presents, I turned on the game, and allowed it to
load with no interference from me, and after wrapping for two hours the game
still did not load.
I then proceeded to upgrade my browser and my flash and cleaned out cache and
my laptop, but even today I am not able to login. Please fix this problem and
allow me to tend my empire.
My browser is Firefox 8.0.1.

Have you tried loading the game in another browser, I noticed you are using Firefox which usually doesn't have as many issues with the game. If you could try IE or Chrome to load the game to see if it a browser issue or something else.

At this point, I have tried I.E. 9 and Chrome, and I am still having
issues. I am not able to get past the "santa" page sometimes, but if I
am able to get into the game I am missing multiple chat tabs and am
only able to stay on for a limited amount of time. As I am replying to
this email, I have had to refresh my game 3 times, because I have
gotten the popup box saying to refresh browser, clear your cache
(which I have done), and server failed please refresh.
Please help.

Can log in but on loading screen says I need to clear cache, did so and still getting the same message, downloaded chrome and tried to load the game still same message.
Dittos to all the above. Can't log on keeps telling me to empty browser cache. Did at least 10 times still cannot get past Santa.
Is there another Crash? I can't log in.
Same as todays log in crash problem?!? Can't log on. Also states in a small popup "server call failed"

i dont appreciate not being able to play something i pay cash for my resources are being squandered .. my not being able to play is considered fraud
i had to log in using my fb account and it made me make a new game..i was level 20 and now have to start from the begining..:( how can i get back to my first game? i never used fb to log in before and didnt want to have to use it now...i would really like to go back to my first game..HELP

If you guys are reading anywhere else on the forums you'll find the game has just about had enough it seems like. Random rollbacks, disappearing generals, resources, and adventures, I've read of a few people upgrading the prov house or barracks to 4 with the 5k coins and however much marble...when the random rollback hits it stops upgrading and all the resources are lost. So you're not missing much in game anyway because with everything is burning to the ground, it's hard to re establish fields and mines at this point.
hey dream!...at least some people can get on and do some up keep.....it would be nice to even be able to see my island......
