Resource Calculator 2.0

Been playing the game for a week or so and noticed they seem to be missing something that lets you figure out what your total production of a certain commodity is. I found this a pain being new to the game as I am sure all of us did at one time or another. I did notice that Aurorah had put one up awhile ago. I found it a bit hard to navigate but a very good first attempt and it is what gave me the idea for this. I give credit to Aurorah for the inspiration.

Resource Calculator 2.0 just took the idea a bit further allowing you to enter each of your buildings in. It also allows you to calculate your exact production because it uses the actual overall production time from in game. It will show you the hourly production, daily production and a summary of your building counts as well.

From the Building List you use the drop down lists to select the building type, its level and if it has a buff or not. Then you enter the Overall Production Time from that building. You get it from the details page for that building. Make sure you put the minutes and seconds into the provided fields. It will calculate everything else.

I tried to use Google docs to preview but with the lists and formatting it did not work properly. So make sure you download an original copy. It was done in Excel 2010 as I no longer have 2007. Also taking it back to a previous file type will disable some of the embedded formulas.:mad:

Future plans:
Convert to an exe program similar to Selak's combat simulator.
Possible java-script integration to run as a sidebar while in game. (although I think ubisoft is already making something similar with the scale icon)

First i wish to say, thanks for sharing this with us, the effort you put into it is very obvious and really makes for a easy and very useful tool for this game.

2 things that bother me personally a bit, it gives the impression of being majorly zoomed in when opening it, i cant quite figure out how to revert it to a more normal sizing, which if it was reverted, it would eliminate the need to scroll left and right to see stats vs enter buildings. The other issue i foresee is not really being able to remove buildings from list, I for one tend to demo buildings to make room for more advanced buildings as i get upgrading underway or simply decide i need more of one type and due to building license limitations, have to demo something else to make room.
