Bandit leaders
As I prepare to face a bandit leader with 11000 pts I had to wonder this. If I lose the battle, does the damage I inflict remain on that leader? ie. Lets say I do 8500 pts of damage and lose all my men. When I face him again will I face a leader at 3500 or a leader that has been repaired to his original full strength of 11000?
As a side question, is this also the case with my own soldiers and smaller hit point enemies? Does the damage remain untill attacked or attacking again? Thank you for taking the time to answer.

He either dies or regens to full. Dead stays dead, alive heals up.

I was afraid of that. This should be interesting, thank you for the responce.

Bandit leaders will heal if you do not send more than one wave of troops. Two or three waves can be required to kill some leaders. Simple have more than one General attack the the same Leader at one time. The bandit troops will not regenerate, the ones you kill will stay dead. You troops you will need to replenish via recruitment in your Barracks. Your Generals cannot be killed, but will take 4 hours to recover from a defeat before they can be sent out again.

I sent two waves to Metal Tooth, but he still had 1100 health on the second wave after the first did 2/3 damage to him! The second wave arrived only a couple seconds after the first, why did he heal up in between? Thanks.

ANY troop unit with partial damage will have full HP at the start of the next fight with them. to take down metaltooth or chuck or mary, you must first sacrafice some cav to kill the troops that they are protecting. afterwards, make sure you have enough tank and dps to kill the leader. there are many guides and numbers available for doing these if you search for them, both with the normal generals and the veteran generals.
