I'm at level 22. The bandit leader's camp is the only camp left in the
middle of the screen on the far right. it has a total of 200 bandits/dogs. I
have attacked it 2 times ...both times with 2 generals and a total of 400 ...none of the
bandits/dogs are ever killed and both of my armies are always defeated. Am I
missing something here? I have always inflicted casulties...but not at this
camp.
Have you tried any of the Combat Simulators? There are several links in the forum. Also there is a Chuck/Metal/Mary Thread in the Guides section of the Forum. You might also try to be more specific. Exact troops in the bandit camp. What you troops you tried to send against it. Etc, etc.
More detail: Bandit Camp has 1 Leader, 49 Rangers, 48 Guard Dogs, and 100 Roughnecks. My 1st General had 150 Recruits, 25 Bowman, 25 Milltia. My 2nd General had 150 Recruits, 25 Bowman, 15 Militia, and 10 Cavalry. Both generals attacked at the same time............
Durgan, sending more than one general at the same time doesn't help your chances against a boss. The boss regenerates his hitpoints after each general's attack is finished. It is not possible to "double up" with more than one general to hit a boss like Metal-Tooth or Wild Mary. You can kill the accompanying troops with waves of Attacks, but if the Boss has the "Courageous" skill, they will soak damage before their troops.
For that reason it is very important to read the guides on what to send and use one of the simulators. However, with the changes to the server tomorrow, realize that the accuracy of the simulators may be in question for a day or so. ( Yes, the one I programmed too ;) )
