can't log in

i got a msg in game saying can load some file and that i need to clear my cache. so i do so and now can't get back into the game. i hit the login button and it goes to the blue screen but just stays there, doesn't load the game at all.

I am having the same problem. First I couldn't go to my adventure, now I cannot log in at all. I have tried a different browser, and a different PC entirely, no success. I cannot even log in, it fills the loading bar, and then stops, gives that error, and sits there unhappily.
I am going to fail a witch of the swamp that had two camps left, and be very sad soon.

I don't even get a failed loading file. I just get a blue screen. Is this related or something else?

that is what i get the blue screen you normally get before it loads the Christmas image as it loads the game. i get the blue screen and it just stops loading anything.

and why are we being told to always clear our cache and cookies so much?!

This shouldn't be due to an "update" or maintenance considering I live in eastern time, It shouldn't be down for another 4.5 hours..

It's a completely different message if you try to log in during maintenance.
This isn't a browser issue client side either, something is going on with their server

Keeps telling me to delete my browser cache even though I already have.

Im not getting any messages, just the blue screen like previously mentioned. I click Play Now, and then blue.

same problem here, gets to end of loading bar on santa screen - then tells me it cannot load a data file.

I see I am getting the same issue as to where I log in to the game, but when I click on the play button, it goes to the blue screen just before the game loads, but never loads. Have done the clearing cache and cookies bit and shut down computer system than restarted, but never did anything to change the outcome.

Same here, blue screen after some of those file download msgs and clearning my cahche. Are any system techs reading this? If so, let us know you're working on it! Good grief!

Looks like it's an UBI problem. I guess UBI is undergoing some maintenance and started BEFORE our scheduled maintenance.

MOD_Damocracy: Guys, the problem lies with UBI soft files server and not the game itself. When UBI have the files server back up we will be able to play.
Sorry no eta on when that will happen.

MOD_Damocracy: Yeah unfortunately it seems like a file call error on behalf of ubi soft. A simple JS file that give a 404 file not found error. Nothing can be done until UBI fix it. So as BTO46 said, it will most be unlikely of a return today until maintenance is over. Nothing on the UBI forums or from UBI themselves. No BB are on atm so no info on that front either.

Hm I wonder if they can pause my adventure. I really don't want to lose all the progress I made due to this error.

Hey, it worked for me. Hopefully the rest of you aren't spending a ton of money on a game that seems to be barely out of alpha.

I have a similar thing happening in Firefox and in IE. In Firefox it goes through the initializing login Queue and then it has a white square in the middle of the screen, but all the stuff shows on the bottom. It just does not do anything. In IE it just stops at the initializing stage and then quits. It still lists hints/tips, but never goes on to the actual game. Basically in either browser I am unable to play. Anyone have luck with Chrome?

Oh yeah Windows did an auto update yesterday or Tuesday so I am betting Microsoft screwed with something.
