Connection to Server lost

This pops up every 3 minutes or so and it brings me back to the homepage. What is causing this?

Is this because I haven't entered beta key? I have one but I do not know where to enter the keys. Can someone tell me?

Same here; about every three minutes.

For the programmers (if you read this) I note that despite the fact that the connection is lost, when the pop up notification with the overlay comes up, asking me to press 'OK', if I ignore it the world keeps on chugging, resources are collected and totals go up. Is it just that user clicks would not be recorded? It seems as if the rest keeps on going it would be possible to reconnect without redirecting the user each time. Maybe instead of an 'OK' button you could have something like

"Connection lost"
"Would you like to remain in passive view mode (you can watch your world work but not add a new process) or reconnect now (you'll return to the home page where you can reconnect."
"[Passive View Mode] [Reconnect Now]"

Not sure how practical this is but exiting and coming back in every 3 minutes is frustrating. I woud settle for watching the world work if that is possible and just select 'reconnect' when I want to queue a few more buildings.

Just to reiterate I just watched the screen after it said connection was lost and didn't click the Ok button. I watched the chat conversations continue and I watched my barracks built, workers plugging away until I clicked OK. So what is exactly 'lost' here? It is apparent the connection is not 'cut' until I click ok.

Ok, tried it in IE and it has not timed out in 10 minutes. So I guess the problem is with Firefox, one of its settings or Add-Ons. I am using version 9.0.1 with several addons.

I was going to suggest another web browser, What browser were you using previously?

My server keeps loosing connection to,not sure how long it takes but it's wayyy toooo often.It started just 2 days ago.

I guess its problem with connection by wifi, when you loose packet :)

In FireFox 10 I lose connection every few mins so I tryed IE 8 or what ever xp can use. Game runs but is very very slow. Takes a long time to register my actions or apply my buffs. also loging out takes so long I just shut my computer down. Do devs know? and how may people have this similar problem?
