yeah i tired to log in and would even let me access the website
same here can not log in and it would not even bring up the page to log in
I can log in but can't access the game.
yeah. my generals was just about ready to go to my newly started battle. and now they cant fight sad day.

Yeah I click the play now button now that I've been able to access the start page as of 3-4 minutes ago and it just seems like it is "working", maybe is in the process of coming back up?
Not working - After a couple hours of not getting anything, I now am getting the default screen we see during scheduled maintenance saying the server could not connect...

anyone know who's basement they keep this server in, maybe someone could go over and help with some duct tape, ball bearings and 30 weight oil lol
This is lame. I was unable to buff or shutdown my gold chain and now they're doing 'scheduled maintenance'. I sure didn't see any schedule before the crash.
Ya, kinda pissed, need to turn off my Titanium smelter ><
If it runs without buffs, I lose a lot of ore :/

I'm going to give it another 20 mins or so see if I cant get in to buff buildings, hopefully it comes up before then I guess! Also would be nice to send out explorers since I'm fresh out of adventures :*(
I think the game crashed right before maintence, something we all didnt expect which kinda sucks but was expeceted to happen, might of been caused when the germans where doing something to the servers, don't know.... But maintence is going on now and won't be back up till 8AM EST i believe... I forget what it said... think it 5AM PST, maybe... who knows, All you can do really is wait and see what happens now... Sorry :/

yeah, i think this is not a maintenance since it is only Wednesday and I can't access the server more than an hour ago..just want to know if there is any update from their side..
yeah, i am wondering regarding that one since "the settlers" page in FB now points to "The Settlers" and not in "Castle Empire" anymore. And how come they are two different game? Could someone enlighten me please..Quote:

Don't know ... Most likly something happend on their end and everything crashed... But do to the fact that it crashed.. they got 2 problems to fix now... The Crashed Servers and then maintenance. I'm sure that something happend and it was a mistake... Just gotta be patient and wait.
and it is now thursday, ladies and gentlemen. We can now assume that there is a maintenance so we can't connect now but it does not add up as to why we can't connect earlier. Anyway, we can't do anything about it, i just hope that next time this will happen they will try to inform us so we can buff earlier or turn off our production. this sux

all I know is they better compensate us for this. what about all that are on adventures I am sure it does not help them out

It says on the News page that server is back up at 4:00 PST, rather than 5AM when it usually comes back up. At least that's 1 hour earlier than usual.
It is, but better earlier then never i guess...
well that is nice
and in my exsperience it usually comes up about an hour or so earlier than what it says so maybe it will be back soon ;p
