Fisheries and Fish Production

A fishery retrieves fish from a nearby fish deposit and places them in a nearby storage facility. A fishery is available once a player reaches level 6. A fishery will retrieve fish from the next closest deposit once the deposit it is working on is depleted. Fish deposits can be resupplied with additional fish by means of the Production House.

There are a total of 25 fish deposits on an island: 6 in s1, 0 in s2, 6 in s3, 1 in s4, 4 in s5, 0 in s6, 8 in s7, 0 in s8, and 0 in s9.
Production
A fishery requires 1 fish in a fish deposit for every fish it produces per level. Production time for a fishery is 3 minutes plus transportation time to and from a fish deposit and to and from a storage facility. Therefore, a level 1 fishery will never get 20 fish per hour due to travel time costs.
Tips- It is best to place a fishery between a fish deposit and a storehouse or mayor’s house. Shorter distances will result in shorter production times.
- Do not use a fish plate buff on a level 1 fishery. A fish plate costs 10 fish to make. Its net effect on a fishery for 30 minutes will always be less than 10 plates. See explanation under production information.
- Most players shy away from buffing their own fisheries unless there is a supply shortage that needs immediate correction. You can buff a friends or guild member’s fishery since the buff’s cost is not a factor.
- You or a friend can replenish a fish deposit using supplies from the Provision House. Fish deposits apparently have no upper limit and can easily sustain 24,000 fish provided you are able to make that much fish deposit in the Provision House. According to the German wiki, the highest deposit amount reached so far is a little over a million.
- A level 1 fishery at a total production time of 3:32 minutes will produce about 17 fish an hour or about 200 fish a day. That’s enough to make 20 fish plate buffs or 5 sandwich buffs or 1 basket buff, assuming the other materials are available. A goal of a single 25 stack of fish plate buffs a day is going to require 2 level 1 fisheries.
- For every 200 fish produced, a fishery will require 20 bread to replenish the fish deposit. Therefore 1 bakery will usually support 10 level 1 fisheries or 2 level 5 fisheries. Keep that ratio in mind as you expand your fisheries.
