Benefits include camaraderie and easy access to trading buffs. We are all very friendly and help each other with tactics, adventures, trades and similar.

Guilds provide a close knit community that is readily available for trades, buffs and adventures. It is the only place I trust player to player trading. You also get comeraderie and a private place to chat, well away from the cesspool of global.
Do your research, a free guild is not necessarily a good guild.
