So why do you think that you can inflate the prices pre-maturely on your own with a forum post? Sounds like you need to change specialties and produce something a little more in demand if you want to command your own prices!

A lot of people are arguing meat is more expensive because people use it more. But don't forget if meat has a high price, then sausage should be higher because of the demand of meat, and the lack of meat provided for the sausage.
in other words,
if there is a lot of something, a few people need it, the price is usually low
if there is a little of something, and lots of people need it, the price is usually high
At the moment meat is something like 20g a stack, sausage is 25g a stack.
as a result the sausage are really not worth making, and its more efficient to sell meat, rather then sausage; However, the problem is this effects buff prices also.
the fix is to raise the amount of meat used per production and this seams unreasonable.
Another option is to increase the amount of time per cycle on meat. this would increase the prices on meat, and ultimately sausage. but changes like this will likely only change the prices on market a little.
the solution is the player population posting meat for what its worth, 35-40g
selling baskets for 10g each rather then 6.
Selling longbows for 40-45g a stack, rather then something much lower. selling logs are worth more then planks and bows.
Etc and so forth.
Calv are also another resource thats off for production/price ratio.
Things need to be fixed, and the not really meat sells at or how its used (that may effect it slightly); the reason problem is the way people are trading.
I have to disagree with the OP. One of the best parts of this game is the trade tab. I really like the free market aspect of it, i.e. all trades occur between players with minimal restrictions or limitations. In addition, it offers a little bit of PVP since I sometime find myself competing against other players for the same trades. That being said, all items should be based on supply and demand, not what someone’s spreadsheet calculates as the most profitable or efficient. If I want to reduce price to increase velocity, so be it. I’d personally rather move more volume at lower prices than sit on stockpiles and wait for a little better margin. However, I understand others’ may not see it this way, and that's great. To each their own, which is kinda my point…
Agreed :)
Also Agreed :)
I think prices are continuing to go down because more players are producing that material.... and maybe logs are higher because like fir production they got ratios wrong and can't feed their mills.... There are lots of reasons that prices of things drop and rise, In fact that makes the game interesting. :)
Could this have anything to do with Talar trying to dominate the game with his massive stores of guild donated resources and hes not making as much money as he thought he would so he wants to "straighten out" the prices (so he makes more coin for himself)? Could it?
Start a new thread and post the right cost of gold coins per stack of each resource.
