I have a question or 2 regarding the easter event. "This explorer will be independent of the normal explorer limitation (limit: 1 per player)" what does "normal explorer limitation" mean?.
Also.. if we buy these explorers and general.. do they remain after the event is finished?

yes, MEPH, they remain after the event.
the "normal explorer limitation" is 10 gem bought savage scouts and whatever the limit is on the coin ones from the tavern.
This event's explorer will not count against the other limits.
The veteran will not count against limits for generals either.
Apparently when you login, the news window that pops up in the game says Easter event will end on the 12th of April.
Well, I am glad to say that I got my generals back. From what I understand, a lot of people have repaired. Thank you.

Just a heads up, the in-game message saying the event will end in April is wrong. The event will end on May 3rd. Happy Egg hunting!

- I have now done the hourly egg hunt adventures 10 times and I am no longer having them popup in my quest log.

- After you finish the hourly egg hunt, do the hunts you can but from the gem vendor now give you eggs?

Supposely they will be mailing out 200 eggs as part of the easter gift. But I'm not sure if they're doing that still since they mailed out some 250gem sorry gift for easter already.
Can we get some clarification on this line in the patch notes?
New Easter Quest Chain
During the Easter event, a new quest chain will be added. This quest chain will be 20 quests long! For each completed quest in the chain, you will get a reward.
I assume this is the daily chain that is handed out about every hour or so and gives you 10 eggs, followed by 30 eggs for a total of 40 each time. I have completed the first 10 quests and they have stopped coming, it has been about 3.5 hours since i completed #10. So what s meant by the 20 quests long part and how is that done. What is the reward for completing the 20 chain?
It is 20 Quests long, you did all 20 Jett. 1 Quest to get the Easter Egg Map, the 2nd Quest is the Easter Egg Map. I do not think their are any awards after that.
Just want to reply here, i have accepted a few trades where i should have received eggs (trade window) yet a few times now.. i have not received the eggs. Possible bug ?
Also i think the problem is.. when you accept a trade normally, you get the "ding" noise and the pop up to say its being transfered to warehouse... i am not getting the "dings"

That just reeks of greed to me, this is supposed to be a fun event for the players, not a way to gouge us for more money.
I have personally spent more money on this game in the last 8 months that I would on a subscription MMO for a year.
They could at least have a mega-happy hour sale so we can get gems at a discounted price.
I am very disappointed with this event....
I bought the adventures with gold but nothing happens after I finish 3 of them. Thought I was getting eggs :(

There are supposely 200 more eggs coming from a gift in the mail. But I'm not sure if that is still happening or not.
Just wanna ask if there will be a gem sale during the easter period (ie before may 3rd) ?
I know the Easter Event ends on May 3, but will we have a few days after that before the easter items disappear from TRADER (IE decorations, buffs, etc)
Slash_n_Burn, typically yes we do. I'm not sure if their doing it or not. But typically we have about 1-2 weeks after event ends to finish using up all eggs that we want to.Quote:

When it ends, it'll end in ALL timezones. :)
It should end with maintenance, which typically occurs at midnight on Wednesday, PDT.
Doesn't look like the Free Eggs gift is happening. Apparently only those who 'registered' with a UPlay account gets an email spam with a redeem code in their actual email account. All facebook users are screwed basically. No redeem code for facebook users.
If it makes you feel better, I am a registered UPlay member, and although I did get the email; it didn't work so I never got mine
I'm a facebook user, and I got the email from Ubisoft. Had no problem clicking on the Redeem Gift button in the email.
Can i get confirmation of what it says on the front page, that we can still use our easter eggs untilthe 10th ?
