Market Corrections.
Its time the community bands together and stops this scamming and abuse of lower levels.
we level 30+ do not pay 30g a stack for marble. Its wrong of people to charge this to new players because of their ignorance.
You can unite behind me on correcting this, or not. But either way, i will bring down this price, and make sure they are educated to know you are cheating them.
Do you part, and do what is right for the community. Stop cheating people. End your greed.

This is a game Talar.
It has a free market economy.
The market corrects itself and prices are set by ALL the players, not by you.
Your latest round of chat spams accusing higher level players of greed are only making you a laughingstock.
Chill out, relax and PLAY the game.
You can't dictate to everyone what prices should be.
I honestly think you need some kind of medications or something.
Watching you swing from guild recruitment spams to tirades spams on prices and to pasting passages out of the Koran in chat has me convinced that your mental health is the issue here.
IT'S A GAME! It should be fun. You are turning it into a nightmare. Please stop.

Couldn't agree with you more talar. The people trying to protect new players from wasting precious gold should not be singled out by some folks for ridicule and harassment. We should realize that the game needs new players to grow and people are only going to drive people off by extorting gold out of new players. There are unscroupulous sorts out there all the more willing to take gold from unsuspecting new players. We don't need to go into calling people out by name but maybe this will help them realize that its bad for them in the long run the more people quit the game because of frustration after realizing they just traded a few days worth of gold away for practically nothing.

I consider myself an expert on mmorpg economies and all I can say is 'more power to ya.'
I'm not going to try to stop you but I will just give you a heads up that you're most likely wasting your time/effort. The main problem is that the low level players need the materials they are buying and economies like this are always based on supply and demand. If you are willing to always keep the supply up for low level players then the prices will be driven down (like you say). But you're going to need to put a ton of effort into it. You'll need to keep about 15 different resources on the trade tab at any given time. The moment your trade expires and you don't renew it someone else is going to put marble up for 35g a stack again.
People (at least the smart ones) look at the trade tab before putting their offer up. If the supply is low at the moment the price goes up.
Anyway, I'm not bashing you, I just thought I should warn you what you're up against.

This is the last I am going to say on the matter. I regulary charge 30 coin for marble and hw planks, and the hits I get are from seasoned players, not newBs. I get the impression that you are looking to buy hw planks and marble and don't want to pay 30 coin for it and no one will fill your asking trade for peanuts. If you are so against it, prove to me that marble and hw planks are not worth 30 coin.

I am not sure why you complain about the prices and the market so much. The prices changes from when I joined are def in favor of the newer player. Everything was very out of whack in October but every month it has improved. You and your guild can try to tamper with the Market and I wish you luck but you guys will probably not affect it too much.

meh, something is worth what people will pay. that being said, those making above market trades waste their own time, especially since we can only have one trade active at a time. if somebody wants to spend all night trying to make 30g on 400 marble or hardwood planks a few times, let them. meanwhile i'll be moving thousands of units and making considerably more on volume. to each their own.
-
The issue is not what we upper levels trade at.
for example you will not find any upper level paying 30g a stack for marble or hardwood planks.
they will trade 15g or somewhere in that area.
Now a new player comes along and does not know its not worth 30g, and pays 30g.
this is the problem. It has nothing to do with anything other then "higher levels taking advantage of lower levels"

it is also entirely likely that new players that don't know the market are making these trades, in order to maximize their returns on a limited supply of marble or hardwood. i know when i first started, i'd start pretty high, realize i wasn't moving anything, then reprice several times until i found a sweet spot. no sense in demonizing those that are trying to learn the market. if some upper lever wants to babysit a overpriced marble trade all night, let them do so; they are only slowing themselves down.
but hey, if you want to become a market maker by cornering the marble market with your oversupply, more power to ya. i'm not gonna complain about a constant supply of cheap marble and hardwood. in fact, i request that you do the same with sausage, iron ore and coal also. i've seen some pretty ridiculous trades there as well.
