Guilds don't come to players (unless they are ridiculously awesome/at level 48), you need to go to the guilds. I recommend chatting with people in the game and if you like them, see what guild they are from and try to join. Or you can look at the various guild threads in this forum.

Take a look at the guild recruitment section of the server.

I agree as well you should check the guild forum and also the in game guild list . If you find a guild you are interested in I'd then suggest speaking to a few of its members to see what the benefits of that guild is then speak to the guild leader. I find this method to be more informative then speaking just with the guild leader
