Castle Empire Players!

We recently got an update from the developers about the new features coming to Castle Empire on March 29th .

March 29th Content Update:

There will be a huge content update on March 29th. This update will contain the Easter Event, all new daily quests, an adventure update, and new mystery boxes.

• Easter Event
The Easter Event will start on March 29th and end April 19th. This event will be packed full of new content. There will be all new exclusive event content. In the Easter event here will be an adventure quest chain that includes egg hunts, special buildings, unique decorations, and new buffs. This content is currently on the test server and can be tested now. If you aren’t a big fan of test servers, check out the Easter event preview in the forums here.

• Daily Quests
During the content update we will be releasing 100 new daily quests. These quests will contain many different tasks that differ by your level in the game. We will be updating daily quests in the future in order to increase the variety.

• Adventures for map fragments
Currently, there are several Adventures in the shop that require Gems to purchase. Starting March 29th you will be able to gather map fragments to purchase these adventures.

• Mysterious Adventure Box for map fragments
A new Adventure mystery box will be added to the game. This box can be purchased with map fragments and will include one of the adventures at random.

• Mysterious Resource Box for map fragments
There will be a new resource mystery box that can be purchased with Map Fragments.

We will not have any new content updates until March 29th. Leading up to March 29th, we will be doing important technical work. Some of the servers will be physically moved in order to add capacity and avoid bottle necks. These changes will ensure good performance in the future.

Finally, we are happy to announce Castle Empire won the GameStar-Award: Best Browser Game of 2011. GameStar, a popular German gaming magazine, conducted its annual community survey in order to crown the best games of 2011. We are happy to announce that Castle Empire won Best Browser Game of 2011 by a wide margin!

I'm more excited for the technical work freeing up server resources... as someone who's lost hundreds (if not a thousands) of good troops due to these issues...

the adventure box is fun never know what adventure you will get. on test server what about more then one barracks troops are way to slow to build. have checked out 2 of the new adventures I like them. will be fun to see what troops it takes to get them done.

are we getting any balancing of resource consumption by certain buildings?
i mean for instance: i find it exceedingly hard to believe that you would make 1 coin from 4 bars of gold >.<
and how it takes 2 mills to fully supply a bakery without it blacking out.

Now if you only fix the travel bug with generals sometime before then. Come on, I've submitted bug reports on this since closed beta. It's getting ridiculous that this isn't fixed, yet. It's a simple math equation. Hire a programmer who can take a few minutes out of their day to fix this, please.

I think these are Easter event specific buffs.
