I just noticed there were two codes of conduct stickied. If that's the clause you're worried about, I'm pretty sure that's intended to be posting/chatting about boycotting Ubisoft in the forums/public game chat, though I wouldn't mind some clarification in case it matters when pvp is out.
that's the impression i get, especially since its combined with petitioning. seems unreasonable to prohibit guilds from boycotting certain players for trade, especially if they're known scammers.

Well, no, I am not breaking a rule by choosing not to deal with certain players.
I think the rule is more along the lines of organized boycotts.
I never tell my guild members who they can or cannot trade with.

That is a good statment right there, no guild leader should have th e right to tell members whom to trade with.
