Confused About Combat
I'm curious to know who designed this goofy combat system? I'm obviously doing something wrong because guard dogs, with their low hit points and low damage, are wiping out my recruits and militia, both of whom are supposed to be stronger. Why do I have to send practically twice as many recruits to win a battle against guard dogs? Am I misunderstanding the purpose of hit points and damage stats? Thank you to anyone who can make sense of this non-sense!

and why, when i kill a group of enemies, do they still hit back? it seems to be lacking common sense, this combat system. like i could see losing 2 or 3 from the battle overall, but it just looks like a turn-based system....in which dead guys can hit back.
