How do I get the unemplyed settlers working?

How do I use my coins?

Unemployed settlers will automatically work as soon as you have work yards for them to work in.

For now save your coins unless it's for something important like paying the fee to get into a good guild. You will need your coins later on for upgrades

Can you explain to me, please, with what benefits guilds justify an entrance fee?

or try to get into a guild for free, guilds try to help new players
that is you can buy marble, stone, firwood planks, hard wood planks (quite a lot actually) with the money you get as a noob
