meh, this kinda thing isn't really my cup of tea. if i want gems, i'll buy them. that being said, it's rather nice of them to offer these contests to those who can't or don't want to spend $$ on gems. good for them.

Hey all, updated the first post with new times for today's code drop.
Also, I see that a lot of players are unhappy with this event. Many have felt it is unfair because everyone doesn't receive a prize. A few points on this.
Each picture has five codes. These codes can only be redeemed once because unfortunately I do not have codes that are redeemable by everyone. While I agree this is not ideal, I don't think this makes the event unfair. The Image is posted at the same time for everyone giving each individual equal opportunity to redeem.
Secondly, It is alright if you don't want to participate. I completely understand the limitations of the contest and how frustrating it is for those who try for the codes and get nothing. If this type of thing isn't something you want to try for, check out our other contests! They are generally held on the forums and allow players equal opportunity to win. They aren't as time sensitive as this event.
Because of the overwhelming reaction to this event, we will not hold it again. At least not before figuring out a way to have codes that redeem for everyone. We are listening, but please be patient for the rest of the duration of this event as I cannot change the format mid event.

Having exact times when it'll be posted will make it more of a contest and less of a "get lucky while watching the page for 2 hours" kind of thing. I definitely think there should be a way to make the codes allow multiple people (and maybe even so that one person can only get 1 code from it). As it was yesterday it seemed like whoever happened to stumble across it first could easily chew up all 5 codes.Quote:

Well i won once, got the red flying settler.
There was this one code that i could not see, the numbers all looked like SBD38 they all look the same when pixalated.
The contest should be "hard to find" not "hard to see"
i dont go on facebook or twitter either so this contest sucks...
