[Ubi Official] Server Outage 3/28 & Easter Delay

Hey Everyone,

As most of you know, the game unexpectedly went down for 12 hours on 3/28. This was due to some major hardware complications. Our team worked around the clock to get it back up, but unfortunately it was not an easy fix.

I urge anyone who lost anything during the downtime (Adventures etc) to contact Customer Support by clicking here.

We will do our very best to compensate any ruined adventures. We understand everyone's frustration with the server outage, and share it!

There has also been a change in this weeks maintenance that has delayed the Easter Event. Unfortunately, we launched the Easter Event in Germany first and it had major technical issues. As we do not want to experience the same bugs we will be holding off on the Easter Event. Our team is working around the clock to get these bugs in check, and hopefully I will have a new date to announce soon!

Again, I really appreciate everyone's patience and understanding. The news isn't happy, but I assure you, our team is working hard to resolve the issues.

I hope you will also extend the duration of the Event. Since you are delaying it by a week. This means it is one week shorter to get all the eggs needed to buy the new Vetern General! I hope you can extend the event for 2 weeks longer! Thank you.

Unfortunately i have to say this falls in line with your overall customer service. The Easter event has been on the test realm for over a month now and has been hyped by the company. Here we are now 8 something at night a few hours before the release of the event and there are now multiple crippling bugs that are effecting the event. I love the game overall but your public relations and customer service are some of the worst in the games industry. From the three tickets I've had open its taken over 5 days for a response. Something really needs to be done about this or you will drive a wonderful game into the ground.

I couldn't agree more with Bishop. They are lacking big time in that area and from a player's perspective it's very frustrating.

You should aim to be as close to 10 as possible to keep the masses happy.

I have to agree, I really love this game, but the major snafus in the last few days leaves us a tad bummed. :( I see you are doing what you can to resolve the issues, but to not compensate your gamers and such, is just not right. I know the game is free and all, but stil other games have given up freebies when there are bugs like this. Having the Easter Event last longer or at least throw it back to end in 3 weeks as it was stated originally would be good, make it a month even better :)

Aww, seeing no Easter Update this morning is a little disappointing. Was really looking forward to doing something new/different instead of the same old routine. I guess better to have delays than everyone having to deal with crippling bugs.

You also might wanna revise the in game message of the day.. still saying that easter event happens today after dt.

Its beta, Its a game, Its Life, Get over it people.. if you spent money on this game, it was your decision. you should have researched what a 'beta' is before paying to play in a beta.

i cant be the only player that isn't upset over the event being delayed.. and to all the questions about adding a week to easter event, do you really think they would take a week away from us? we had 17 days before they delayed the event, so we will have 17 days when it starts..

not trying to sound mean but seems like there are alot of kids that play this game that expect frees (24 / 7)

^^ agreed. But you just might be the only person that isn't upset that the event was delayed. I don't need to flame Ubi and BB about it being delayed but I was lookin forward to it :p

i too was looking forward to it, and i also planned my building upgrades (or held off) around it being deployed today. Guess i'll have to build some extra wells till i can get my hands on a watermill via the eggs

I was looking forward to it as well, However delays should always be expected, it is beta. I would rather be able to play today then be on CEO facebook listening to everyone crying about the bugs kicking them off the server. Instead of Trading for Eggs, keep trading for Coin. Do what you got to do, you just got an extension before chaos. Enjoy it.

Yes there is no easter event, but you are able to play the game :) so smile.

To UBI , this is my first browser game and i love it. keep up the amazing work! your Dev team is Great! just to many people that always point out the negatives..

So all excited to get home for easter event to find nada.Very sad.Im a payed player and feel like ive been jipped.Some sort of compensation should be payed to the players.Just saying.....

also towards serenity6,people pay good money to play this game.Brown nosing castle empire forums will gain you no brownie points.The fact is we are angry and we do have to wait and there should be some compensation for the delay.And in the world i live in if a customer is not satisfied the management does what they can to rectify the situation.And we dont have to Be "Kids" to expect some kind of compensation for the mistake.(im 27 and have my hand out saying fix this or i will spend my money on a game that will).

Dzoe, if you require compensation, you can click the link and contact support. Apparently they had some major issues and are trying to correct them. Like I said in a previous post, I am disappointed, but I am not angry about. No point in being angry about it. Spend money, don't spend money, whatever works for you.

haha there is no brown noising here... its beta, they have told you many times there will be problems. if you bought gems its on your own shoulders, im sorry the truth hurts you Dzoe.

What about those of us that only run our gold production chains fully buffed? we lost lots of gold because we weren't able to login to buff them. Will we qualify for assistance form support?
