In SFTR, it is possible to skip trap T12 in sector 5 if you place your general correctly. placed under the left-side mountains of sector 6 (in sector 2). You can attack the leader camp and will be intercepted by C-9 and C-10. Need to immediately retreat after C-10. Then attack the leader camp again. I have done this several times without hitting the trap.

the decor items seem to stay in the same places however garrison placement seems to vary

On Outlaws: You can lose less troops by going through the island at the SE corner of the map (your sector 2) and hit your L2 (which skips the larger R losses from your C7 & C8). Each of the camps on the little island can take 15R, 1S, & 234C or 25R, 175C depending on your general's capability. Somehow I used to be able to skip the northernmost camp on the island in your sector 2, but recently I have not been able to skip it. I'm not sure if they altered the map or it was a previous glitch or what.
Also , on Outlaws: if you do your sector 2 before your sector 1 you can set a garrison (for the attack at your L1) at or slightly E of your C7 and be able to block your C5 to kill L1. This saves 160B and 70-90R. Also, you can streamline your composition for a 250 general at L1 to 4R, 1S, 245C.
***EDIT*** I just tried doing this adventure today and it seems they've altered the pathing where blocking here may no longer be possible.
On Witch of the Swamp: You can block C5 and kill L4. Saving a 30-50 recruits depending on your type of general and combat rolls.
On Traitors: Long ago I was able to block C6 and attack L2, but I did this adventure again recently and it seemed impossible unless you do advanced blocking (for those that don't know: have a battle last enough rounds [usually 5 rounds] that the other general can reach and complete the leader camp battle which cancels out other battles currently going in that zone and refunds all original troops to those battles). I'm not sure if they altered the map or it was a previous glitch or what.
Also, on Traitors: Additionally, with good timing u can double block C7 and kill L3. Make sure your garrison for L3 is far SE to enter the aggro zone and L3 at a sharp SE angle. That will save you about 200R.
