Generals / Troops Lost After Adventure

After BB_Katealyst had said the general issues had been fixed I started an adventure (horseback) and completed it. After the dialogue box popped up where it tells you the adventure is complete and you "ok" it, the garrisons SHOULD begin to disassemble and it kicks you back to your island.

The adventure menu on the right hand side disappeared and the garrisons did not disassemble and it did not kick me back to my island. I was unable to send the armies home, and when I did go back to my island they are not in transition.

I only started this adventure AFTER Kate said the issue was fixed, and I'm upset at the loss of my generals and troops. I had two gem generals and three regular ones. I don't want to have to re-purchase them, and intended to run another few adventures this weekend.

Not very pleased at all.

Ok, 4 generals came back and have rebuilt their garrisons on my island. However, only two of them show up on my star menu and 200 recruits are missing, and there are extra soldiers. I can not open the garrison menu by clicking on them.

Yes, and on Global today Kate said to post on the forums, so I did. Apparently they are being bombed with tickets and I've already sent in two tickets for two other separate issues relating to rollbacks.

lmao this just keeps on getting better and better, they dont know whats wrong if other peeps generals are still missing why take a chance on doing an adventure ? am i missing something here ? i dont care who say its ok to do . the issue is not fixed or everybody who has missing things would be back including my 2 battlehard generals missing for over 29 hours with 200 xbowmen, and cav my lost coins from trades, buffs lost a day on a weeklong barrack upgrade etc etc .it was lame for them to say its ok , but hey you knew that peeps were still having majors issues sorry for ya but you rolled the dice and crapped out

i feel ya courtneylee were on the same boat here all we can do is try and be patcient if been with the game a while now and they have always made it right with me,in the past ....happy easter

Actually, Kate was online saying the issue was fixed and asked if anyone had lost generals in the last 5 hours. No one had. I was able to send all of my generals there with no problem (not even the takes an hour instead of 15/30 minutes that has always happened to me) and I only had the issue about 4 hours later when the adventure was finished. I had every reason to believe that the issue from yesterday was fixed, especially when a BB says it has been fixed.

my my someone upset because im right i told the truth wasn't me who lied to you . if a pilot told you it was safe to skydive with no parachute, would you because hes the pilot ? just plain old common sense. im not against you but for you on this i still dont have my generals and troops after 36 hours how in the name of god can they say general problems are fixed, maybe for some peeps not for others so its a gamble either way you had a choice i didnt .

NOIDEA you have very flawed logic, when a representative of a company is saying its been fixed, one could only assumed they fixed the problem causing generals to go *POOF* and it should not be happening anymore, and then its just them giving the general back to the people who lost them, befor the so called fix

I have absolutely no confidence that a fix has been installed, no matter what type of damage control the devs, mods, admins or staff have tried to implement in the form of a generic forum post, as not one single support ticket has yet to evidence response.

The issues that recently transpired are entirely the fault of UBI and the BB staff and they have yet to take any corrective action. Nothing you can say will change this solid fact. No player can be blamed for participating in a game and expecting that the unforeseen instabilities be corrected in reasonable and timely manner.

The customer support team is more than lacking in their response(s) to the concerns expressed by the multitudes. Some of which include the unspent, unaccounted for real dollar loss.

If you have nothing of intrinsic value to add, or structured substance to offer, then why troll? why fester an already infected cut?

People are angry and concerned about these losses. Especially those who had real dollar translations mysteriously go missing. And rightly so.

you must skiped over reading his replys for you to make that comment, as I do empathize with the situation,and the people in it, but his remarks to the player is the reason why I commented...like him... to his post.

he was putting the blame on the player for listening to the staff of the game that the problem was correct and following the instructions they gave (posting on the forums) after it turns our she was wrong.

and no his pilot and parachuting example is wrong,and I dont feel like explaining to you why it is, it should be self evident.

Pragmatic because you like analogies so much, hes one for you.... your on a boat (Castle empires) it gets a hole in the hull (a bug) water start gushing in (peoples lost stuff) they can fix the hole in the ship befor they start bailing out the water....
that whats they would do, correct the bug so people can get back to playing and stop more tickets from coming in, then work on returning the stuff, they said the hole was fixed, players had no reason to belive they were incorrect, it was the staff making that comment that caused more damage after the fact.

I read the thread in it's entirety, including between the lines of anger and frustration, which you, obviously, are not able to do and would rather troll-bait, argue and rant about something you are clearly delusional about.

Until the staff does something that would evidence that the glitch, bug or software anomaly is, indeed corrected, their postings are nothing more than empty words. with nothing more than those empty words to show for evidence.

If you're really of the disposition that we must engage is some verbal sport, the bug reporting section is not the proper area for it. Post in the off-topic area and i'll be happy to verbally rake you over the proverbial coals, if you really have such desire for debate. Your original post was out of line and out of place and offered nothing of substance tot he thread. it was not, his example was way off the mark because he used something we all have information on... AKA Gravity of a falling object from a increased high = death, in the case the poster has. it was misinformation from a representative who is in contact with the developers(AKA experts in the field who should know if its corrected)

your being very rude to the company, they had a glitch and are attempting to correct it, they also have a good track record of being fair,kind and generous to the people who play their game...many holidays they give out free things to the players....they dont have to.
the Easter Event got delayed and had some minor downtime... they gave everyone some free things as a apology for the server downtime and delayed Spring event, again they did not have to... hell they dont even have to do events...

even forum events to give away gems or other things that would have costed players money....The Corrupted Wish,Screenshot of the Week,GM Trivia,Luck of the Irish Code Giveaway,St. Patrick's Caption Contest,April Fool's Jokes,Valentine Haiku Event.....ect

I belive thats evidence that they care very much for the players and the reputation of keeping the players happy, and belive they will do the best they can to return everything lost to the players.

the facts as are very clear to everyone are: There is no evidence that any support ticket have been answered. not even a confirmation email that they were received.

Nothing has been reimbursed. i certainly haven't been refunded the dollar amount that i'm missing, of no fault of my own.

your argument about their past giveaways is moot. their holiday events are irrelevant, as are the items included in said event.

the things they gave away for the downtime, while generous, was not something i was in support of to begin with. people who pay nothing and contribute nothing other than argument, speculation and invalid points, like yourself, should not have been entitled to such things. yes, generous. but it was on the dime and at the expense of people who do pay, donate, give or purchase real dollar amounts from the game, consistently, like myself. you're welcome.

Last Sat. 4/7/12 I completed the Old Friends Adv. sent 3 hardened and 3 regular generals along with 1200 troops and returned another 2 generals home for replacements that were sent to the adv. when completed all garrisons were full with there troops and were sent home. Now today 4/9/12 1 Gen. is still traveling someware, 3 Hardened Gen. are lost someware in cyber space along with troops, the garrisons have arrived home but you can not open them or move them to new locations on your home island.

I haven't read all the incredibly long posts by CoryPX and pragmatic, but if we want to call someone out for trolling, I would have started with NOIDEA. I stated the issue I was having, his response (from what I was able to try and hack out of the mess) was that I was a 'tard for sending them in spite of being told the issue was resolved.

Would I listen to a pilot who told me to jump out of an airplane with no parachute? No, because I'm not a moron.

If I had a car that was in need of repair and took it to a mechanic would I not drive it after the mechanic said the issue was fixed, until all the other cars in the garage were also fixed? No, because new cars with issues will always still be arriving. The boat analogy is not a bad one. If you are bailing water (verifying and returning already lost generals and troops) slower than water is coming in (people who did not read the forums / hear from friends / read in global still sending out generals) than you will never get to the point where all the cases are resolved and you are able to fix the original issue (there's a hole in the **** boat)! Since the welcome message when you log on does not inform that generals are being lost, and not everyone resides in global or reads the forums, it's reasonable to assume that until today some people STILL did not know this issue existed.

When the BB's say something is fixed, someone has to be the first one to "test" the fix. They believed it was fixed, myself and I'm sure other people proved that was not the case. I was upset that this happened, I also wanted to let the BB's and other people know that despite believing the general issue was fixed, it was not.

NOIDEA's reply was rude and I was offended. CoryPX replied to NOIDEA's trolling (and silly analogy), and pragmatic you obviously disagree and resorted to name calling which seems out of sorts for the replies I usually see of yours and up until now have agreed with.

I would like to point out for the record (since you mention it Pragmatic) that I have purchased $25 worth of gems on 3 occasions and $50 worth of gems on two occasions since beginning this game in January. I also believe in supporting game development, and I was very grateful for the reimbursement for the downtime around the time of the Easter patch, especially because I am a supporter. Frankly, I'm disappointed that all of the name calling (troll, idiot, half-wit) comments have come from you. No amount of money spent on a game gives the right to name calling. I wouldn't want to have a discussion in the off-topic area if after every reply you insulted my intelligence.


I would kindly ask that no one reply to this thread anymore, it has stopped being useful and instead become drama-laden.
