Morgan it actually tells you in a little note before you buy it that it gives no rewards on bottom of description
"In the context of the quest." You really think anyone will fully understand that without having any other information on whats going on? I want my gold back too. What a waste of time and gold.
A little common sense goes a long way.
No where does it state that there will be no reward. It says if you cancel it you cannot return to it, as like a nomral adventure...
Lost Egg quest says you can keep some of the eggs if you finish. Have purchased that quest?

During the Easter event, a new quest chain will be added. This quest chain will be 20 quests long! For each completed quest in the chain, you will get a reward.
Says you get a reward.

Just wanna add same as op... i did the starter one and bought 1.. starter one yielded eggs as reward.. bought one didnt...
It's a new event people will get excited and buy without reading. It's not like CEO offered them for gem's so you can't say they are trying to make money off scamming you. It's just poor implementation. If you buy the adventure, it says right in the description that you get easter related rewards. But in the description in the gem shop is where it says "you only get rewards when done through the quest"

The text should be BOLDED or the first text on the dialogue, not at the bottom as a "note"
Since it says it only gives rewards in the context of the quests, that made me think you get some reward at some point. What does "only give rewards when finished in the context of the quests mean"? How do I finish in the context of the quests so I can get rewards? I was excited that I could earn more eggs by completing the quest. That's disappointing if I get nothing and I just spent 30 coins so I could spend 5 minutes clicking on eggs :(
Sounds like a buggy or bad text. Since the Mission says "Get Event-Related Rewards".
For LOST EASTER EGGS.
The text says "Help collect missing eggs. He promises to let you keep some of the eggs if you do." <- bogus description then.

I wouldn't say it was a "rip off." But I'm not sure I understand how the event is supposed to work. I did use some gold on a couple of the adventures -- not realizing that there was a difference between an adventure and a quest -- before seeing the note that said you only get a reward when it's part of a quest. So I followed the quest and have forty eggs and it appears to be all done. I wasn't paying attention and don't remember if it was a "Daily Quest." Does anybody know if you get a new quest each day, or if there is a place to go to add the next quest? Or is it pretty much over once you build your Easter Basket and collect the first 40 eggs? Perhaps I overlooked it, but if there is a link to a page of instructions about how the event works, I would be very grateful if you posted it here. Thanks.
I did my daily quest, purchased 5 of the paper chase adventures, did those and I have 0 eggs, None from my daily quest or the adventures....is anyone else having the same problem?

NM,, my guild mates informed my eggs came from the egg quests NOT from egg adventures
SO... PEEPS the hourly quests give rewards/eggs the adventures dont.

The Purchase-able Easter Adventures just should not have been available to purchase till after you completed all the quests.
What's the point of an Adventure, that you have to pay for, that you get -no- reward for?
As a player who can't yet purchase 'real' adventures quest & new to this game's Events, I didn't know what to look for nor how to read their version of broken English.
I had thought that "The Easter Adventure only gives rewards when finished in context of the of the quests" meant that I could only do them in the order that I had finished. example: Finish Quest/Adv #1 .. could purchase & complete the Market Easter Adventure. Not "You can purchase and do these Adventures whenever you want but until you finish the whole quest series, and hopefully you have time to do it before the Event ends, you'll just be wasting your time and coin."
Luckily I only wasted 10g on the adventure before figuring it out but it is still crappy design & implementation.
Agree 100%, bad wording, and pointless to even have. Why would you pay gold, they don't even randomize the locations each time. Its like doing the same seek and find puzzle over and over again, lol. Awe well. *writes off the 100 gold he spent as an opsie* I will delete them. I'm not even going to do them again. No reason too lol.
I am still confused. So if we aren't supposed to buy and we don't get an email... what are we supposed to do?

Logic would dictate that something that you pay Gold coins for and is related to the Easter event would give out some sort of reward related to that event.
I did the adventures in the Christmas event and those gave out presents (the currency for that event).

I think the adventures are purchaseable IN CASE, somebody accidently "cancels" the adventure. This would create a big problem in completing the event quests.
You get a free adventure from doing the quest, but if somebody happens to 'cancel' or trade it away, the option to buy it from the store with gold is the only solution.
There is no real reason otherwise to buy it from the store, you will eventually get them provided you complete the quests in the chain order.
As RonEmpire stated, these adventures are purchasable IN CASE someone accidentally cancels the adventure. However, we realize now that they should not cost Gold Coins.
During next weeks maintenance we will be changing the price to one fish instead of 10 Gold coins. The coins already spent on the Easter island will be refunded during the maintenance next week.

I think the "rip-off" is rather harsh. But I also think the wording on what was happening with the 10 adventures could have been a little clearer too. Yes, I dropped 20 gold on purchases, but the dev's seem to realize there were some gaffs in the implementation and I'll get my coins back next cycle. As this is my first event in this game, its all live and learn to me. I do wish I had seen about the hour or so after completing each stage, but now that I know that I have 200 eggs and I am a happer camper.

We will agree that this could have been more clear. The language is misleading to evidently quite a few, and has caused some to lose gold coins...
Ya I'm out 90 gold myself I bought the rest of the quests after I finished the first one but did not know that there was more coming every hour, after I bought the 9 others I was told that the rest of the quests would be coming in every hour so I waited and play those ones as they came in every hour after I completed each one, I still have the ones I bought in my star menu and I hope I can get my 90 Gold Coins back...

These adventures are completely lame. There is no way to get the "General" or explorer, unless you have a bunch of explorers. I'm 910 eggs away. With no other means to get eggs (trade for ripped off amount (seriouly 400 granite for 50 eggs, ony would take 7200 granite and still be short 10 eggs). I must really be missing the point at setting the "general" at such a high level that you can't achieve it through quests/adventure. I've not done an adventure for a few days (rebuilding army and area), so are those giving eggs (I figure probably not). So it comes down to having tons of gems from playing, or spending real money to get gems to get eggs. Very disappointing that there is no method to "earn" the general instead of "buying" him with hard currency (most feasible method for the majority of newer players.)
Trade, trade, trade. That's the biggest dynamic in the game. It takes some hard work and persistent market watching to get that general, but why should he be easy to get? And with the deadline being May 3rd, you could make personal goals of 100 eggs a day and get him. One of the easiest ways is simply make an offer to buy a product low (like hwp or marble) and then sell it for a greater exchange rate of gc per egg. Heck you could buy them with eggs and sell them for a greater amount of eggs. There's lots of opportunity there and it's very doable. Just takes some time and effort.Quote:
