One must add in game, via the "add friend" button on the left end of your "all/friends/guild" bar.
Which also leaves me with the question of who wants to add me? i tend to help out a lot and have
already built a very effective island although i am only lvl 23, i tend to have a lot of extra resources
and mutually buff multiple friends daily. ;)
